New AP 26240 with 4401 Super Clone movement is coming

I currently have the gen 26240s in green and the ceramic one. I will have a gen gold 26240 coming in (dial color unknown).
Based on everything I’ve seen so far I’ll likely order the blue 26240ST for myself. You’re welcome to join me if you wish of course.

Actually my post was addressed to @elusive1 who asked me if I was ordering one for myself as he wanted my opinion.
I told him that I’ll be ordering the blue, and he’s welcome to join me in doing the same, meaning to order the blue for himself from his own dealer of choice.

Yes I would, and I am in no way in any hurry. Besides, I just received notice from PT that their Discount Code is valid until end of Feb. But then again, where would we meet for delivery anyways?

Me too, I would not care too much about the rotor, and I am not into a glass back anyways, my AP diver has a full steel case for that reason. However I would assume that it would not be a big deal at all to change the rotor when a better one is being released, am I right?

Even if the front of the watch looks 100% spot on, it is still isn’t an actual AP.
But the good news is that it looks good enough to be mistaken for one and this world is about appearances is it not?

- on topic: Scratches on ceramic would need high pressure to get there, so this better should not have happened in normals use handling this watch.

16cm wrist. Removed all links. Fits remarkably well. Mirror shot fitment looks even better. Chrono functions reliably. Been dailying it for about two weeks. No issues with the ceramic. Very impressed.

i know many won't believe me because, after all, i just spent 800 bucks on an AP rep, but i really don't give a f*ck about appearances or this obsession of pretending-to-be-rich culture that is ruling the world, particularly social media, nowadays. i merely bought it because i like it (just as i do with everything i own), both esthetically and mechanically. i don't care about the brand, i'd honestly rather not have people asking me about the watch, and i prefer them not to even recognize it. i just wanna enjoy my watch (or anything for that matter) for myself. sorry for the rant

I’m with you. I just love the way the watch looks, and I’m happy I can enjoy the beauty of it (flaws and all) at a fraction of the price. I think I’m going to wait until after alll the Chinese new year festivities end to place my order to avoid any potential delays. Keep sharing more pictures of your blue dial in the meantime!

May i ask, for the stainless steel version, what is the colour of the rotor, from the pics i seen online seems to be yellow gold, gen is rose gold.
