I meant the white/silverish surroundings of the subdials. It appears thicker or more prominent, in my opinion. But it’s purely based on viewing pictures..

Yes good observation, the subdial rings are indeed thicker on the gen vs the rep. And more refined even when seen in person side by side. This is a very good rep release but in no way is it perfect.
It is however very good like I’ve said a few times before.

Yes, it was merely an observation. The thicker subdial rings give the whole dial a fresher look imo. But i agree with you 100%, this is one hell of a release and i am planning on enjoying it for (hopefully) a long time. Little worried about the thickness, i like usually like thin watches.

Thanks! I’ll check them out. Could be a fun super clone to add to the collection sitting next to the PPF 5712 clone movement and this exciting new AP 26240ST with this new super clone 4401 fly back chronograph movement.

What ! No RM 67? It’s gained some traction and there are expensive options. but the thread is divided of which one is a clone and which one is a Miyota. It’s getting confusing following up on that thread

Also an affordable 5740 perpetual calendar might be possible this year. Fingers crossed. This and I’m done with watches.

It varies actually. So far, I have seen finishes on the rep which are acceptable, and some which require work on the polished and brushed areas. The finish is not very consistent from what I have seen so far.

Whoever buys one, make absolute certain the caseback screws are tightened. Mine were loose on 5 of 8.

My lesson on JF 15450 tells me ask 2 extra 2 screws from TD, or buy a thread locker fluid to apply on the 8 screws at the caseback.

A little on QC pics.

QC pics are to satisfy YOU that the watch is OK to YOUR standards, that there are no crooked indices, missing lume, offset chrono hands etc. QC pics are not for picking tells or things that are present in every example of a model such as spelling errors, happy feet, wrong lume colour etc. These...

I won't comment on your pictures, but I will give you advice :

I would pay attention to the case to see if there's any scratches, dings, or cracks if you see any streaking lines that isn't brushing, then that's a question for the TD about it, otherwise the rest is just standard QC affair, look at the printing to see if it's fine, markers, etc.

Nope. Read the rules regarding QC.
It’s your watch, why do you need anyone checking it for you?
If you have a specific issue you may highlight it. You may also share QC pics which have been approved. Else do your own homework and check your own QC pics.
