- Bezels have another shape, all fluted bezels are white gold plated (rhodium)
- Mid case little bit other shape, not too thin as v2. Better finish. Inside same construction for 3135. Lug holes are correct sized 0,9mm
- Case back is now solid and better finished

Does it also have the correct extra cut out opposite the crown for the movement retaining screw?
Can we buy the case back separately? For those who got the v1 it would be a massive upgrade

I’ve not built one but comparing this (I have a v2 case) to my gen 1600 there is a significant difference in dimensions and style. Maybe exactly matching the style is not a priority of yours but FYI.
Unless you are planning on clipping the feet of the dial there is also a question mark on which movement would fit

Sure. Out traveling so cannot provide any pictures at this time but from memory the main differences vs my 1600 are: bezel on v2 looks wider and bigger groves, case thicker, caseback thicker.
Cannot comment on lug shape, nothing that significantly stood out to me.
However, as Dr.Vintage’s case I based on 16xxx these differences to me appear consistent with the model upgrade.
