In some photos the dial color looks very similar to that of PPF v4 5711. Can anybody confirm or disaffirm?

absolutely not. GF 5712 dial have the best correct color ever seen on PP rep. It is a mix of grey-blue-green like gen color ;-)
When I first read this, I had it in my mind to tell you that you'd been smoking crack and that you're wrong, but after staring at the watch for a while, I think you're actually right LOL. Hour markers 6 and 8 might really be a hair wider than the others. However, I promise this is no reason not to buy the watch and unless you spend your days just staring at the watch, it will bother you not one bit
Oh not only a hair wider, it’s a obviously flaw....hope they will fix it after v2 v3 v......

I have the PP4 5711 also and the dial shades of the two are night and day. 5712 is a much richer blue, if you will. For some reason when pics upload to the computer the hues seem more muted, the same way that the 5711 takes on a sort of hazy grayish violet tone on screen when it actually isn’t.

Perhaps, but it's really not as drastic as you make it seem. I think a lot has to do with perspective and that those markers are shorter and stubbier...
this is the best analogy I can come up with lol
My PPF v4 5711 dial has no greenish/turquoise tint. Does the 5712 rep have it in real life?

LOL! Well there you go. I did say I agreed with you. My point was I don't think it's that drastic. What are we talking, like a tenth of a millimeter? I get it, that sometimes some things you can't unsee. For me, this isn't one of them. Maybe it is for you
I'd say so. I'm probably not describing it accurately, but whereas my 5711 seems to have shades of gray, the shades of gray are replaced by green in the 5712
Hey guys, I am curious if anyone having a small wrist has ever tried this piece. Heard the bracelet itself might be too long and some people (other forum) had to make a new hole in of the link in order to remove one more and get the bracelet smaller.
Really considering buying this piece but not sure what to think about that. I think I'll just order it and if it does not fit at all, I'll sell to a gentlemen in here.

How small are you talking about? And make a hole in the link? You know this is metal bracelet right?

I have an order with Andrew before raids, got QC but he kept the watch saying bad clasp LOL. Anyways, spoke to him yesterday - at least 8 to 10 more days for me (and I'm the first in his queue according to him)

Thanks. Given all the input, I guess for me it is sitting this one out till it starts to look clearer, then. I wouldn´t want to get the wrong color of dial

When I asked Andrew he said 'very soon', sad to hear 'very soon' is another week. But I should be right behind you in queue, so what's another 8 days.
