Throwing this out there, Anyone in EU/UK planning to buy from buff in the new year? the payment method and shipping €55 make a group buy worthwhile.

I saw the price he gave you before you edited your post. Its double the price he gave me.

Investing time to realize the dial fo 5711 Tiffany azzure is beyond my comprension as requests for it should be very limited.

First of all it is not nice looking (but tastes may differ) and also is garbage from a Marketing point of view for Patek.


I know 95% of us will not be able to afford a regular blue 5711 (and 99% will not wear it outside of a bank).
I also understand that the same is even more true for a green one.

But for the blue one, 90% of us will be able to see a real one at least once in the life (maybe ia reseller shop).


For the Tiffany one, the percentage of people being able to afford it is 0% (not only on the forum, but in the whole world, as the 170 people that will be given will be known).
Most of Buff clients will never ever see a real one in his whole life.

Demand for this dial will be a mistery to me.
Maybe Buff is doing them for this exact reason.
No comparison = no way to judge (beside overall quality).
Also the colour look easier.


I wonder why they don't focus on dials for:

1) 15202 Blue dial with correct blue
2) 5712 Blue dial with correct blue and improved 6 marker
3) 5726 for PPF wth correct "geneve" box and correct blue
4) 5726 for PPF wth correct "geneve" box and correct grey (i mean the white circle)
5) 115600 Black Dial (with mat subdial) (here the demand could be scarce due to n00b being out of the game)
6) 116610 LV Dial with correct green (hard to correctly do)


1) , 2) and 3) will have a large base of people that could be interested to swaptheir actual dials, espcially all the people with XFV2 and ZF 15202....

I agree with what you said about the pp tiffany thing. I have suggested him repeatedly to make hands and dials for 5167A and other things, but we will have to wait in 2022 to see what will eventually come out.

about the things you listed:
1’ 15202 is something I will shun away from since there will not be a super clone k2121 and the 2121 is a quite old movement that even the gen ones will run with various problems. I know the k2121 is a master piece but it’s construction is too delicate to be properly replicated. It will not be a good rep without a super clone movement I am afraid.

2. 5726 and 5712 are both great. 5726 is better than 5712 since it does not have glue in the movement. Good idea.

3. buff has some dials for Daytona but their dials are not as good as SW or IPK. They have hands for Daytonas too.

If its proper NTPT case and bracelet is going to cost a lot. The bracelet itself is going to be super hard to make and assemble

I hope for an enhanced 5712 and 5726 projects in the near future (both from factories and from Buff).
I think the market shew interest and willing to spend on these (when properly done).


I agree with you regarding movement of 15202 being quite old...
it is just that XF v2 is so good (beside the dial) that I wish I could upgrade it a bit...

Jokes aside. The city in which the factories are located is actually safer against government raids than the one in which he lives. If he uses his own address I believe you will understand what I say when you receive your package. There is no need to invite him over here.


BTW, if you have connections in GUANGDONG province you can get direct access to a lot more modders such as VSV, IPK, and SW. Buff is one of them.
