Havent been able to find any of 2824 or sw200 in top grade or cosc on any website selling to bublic. Do you have any link please?

http://www.ofrei.com/Sellita-Watch-Movement.html

Now on the grades, here's a very decent article: https://calibercorner.com/sellita-grades/

As you can see, both the premium and chronometer have an Incablock shock absorber (as opposed to the standard and special which have a slightly inferior Novodiak). So just make sure you buy the one with an Incabloc and you will be fine.

In that case I would also look at the pinion height as I'm sure these come with the normal height which is too tall for a Rolex. If you put a replica set of hands on a regular SW220 they will probably sit too tall and perhaps get stuck with the crystal. You can buy a new canon pinion set which would replace the pieces on the regular SW220 and you will be fine.

Thank you.
i have the a2824 in my watch so the sellita sw200 will be the replacement for it. About the canon pignon do you think the one already in the movement can be replaced on the swiss one?
wether sellita or eta of course

SW200 will be fine indeed. And actually, your solution seems like a great idea. Just swap the canon pinion and you should be fine. Sounds like a very exciting upgrade (now I'm jealous, haha).

There is another thing you have to swap, by the way, which is the date disc. You don't want a stock 2836 date disc on your Rolex...

Do you guys realise this forum is about the 16610 and not ceramic models.

My 16610LV will arrive next week just got some pictures!
Date wheel is catastrophic but doesn‘t matter because it will be changed to a gen date wheel.

Planned modifications:

VR3135
Gen date wheel
Gen crystal
Gen crown

When I have it in hands I can share images compared to my gen.

I cant believe this really. Even if ARF didnt have the GEN, they have JF 16610 and they could have improved things instead of just make it worse and 904 steel.

Mate, it’s a $7k watch, if ARF doesn’t have at least one gen 16610LN they better just leave the rep business. I mean, we are not talking about a Nautilus or a Richard Mille, there are thousands of 5-digit subs available at decent prices. And it’s the most repped watch ever.

Not just the date font, I mean look at that cyclops! It’s a nice watch, sure. And ARF has always delivered a very good finishing in terms of machining and general metalwork. But that crystal made sense a couple of years ago. Now in 2020 with crystals like the ones RXF or ZZF put in their subs, producing a sub with such a mediocre crystal should be a crime. You want an instant tell? Well, that cyclops is, as well as that date font. Difficult to see in someone else’s wrist, though.

Just fitted a gen crystal to mine plus it already has a gen datewheel on the sh but I have a vr 3135 arriving next week. Can’t decide about the insert, the rep isn’t bad. Crown possibly at some point.

Have you any picture of the side view so I can see the crystal height? Was you able to lower it with different gaskets?

I’ll take one today. It is fitted with the gen 2.7mm gasket it came with. Arf use 2.7 but the crystal in mine was too thick in profile so it sat too high.
