...duuudes...
I just keep looking at these last pics waiting for my tracking to update so I can run home!
this is the watch I’ve been waiting on since I got into this hobby.. especially after realizing the recessed date wheel for all tricompax layouts..
While I do like the Navi World, the blue dial was waay off and loving the dial color is my only justification for wearing the 46mm...
The 41.8 BP A23322 always wore PERFECT on my wrist and while I do not mind the 43mm, I LOVE the 41 on my wrist!!
I do prefer white/silver sub dials, but I understand that just is not how these were made and I welcome it!!

In short:
Thank you KOR for seeing its potential and actualizing what we’ve been screaming for!!
Just can’t wait to snap back that chrono stick!!!

It will need a lot more feedback before super rep status.

Will need feedback from those that have received theirs...check the slide rule alignment in your QC pics posted. The red 60 at 12 o’clock is aligned to the mph as it should be, but check the rest of the alignment...once you see it you can’t un see it.

Importr can you check the slide rule alignment, from the original pictures it also looks to have misalignment but could be the angle.

Some will not care if misaligned but given it is a main draw to the watch others will.

Given there are only a few actual pictures keen to see feedback of those that have one.

Importr thanks very much for the info and photos it’s much appreciated , just wondering if the crystal has the slight lense effect like the gen when looking at a slightly off angle side view? (pic for reference) no factory has got this right yet, any chance you could put the calliper at the crystal edge for rough measurement? , wonder if gen crystal will fit. I have a gen dial and it measures exactly 32.00 so hopefully the slide rule is a smaller opening than 32.00 lol. Thanks in advance for your help.

My slide rule has a very similar alignment as Ebzens slide rule. Mine isn't perfect, I believe that if KOR reduced the ratio of the outer scale so that the hash marks came in to the edge of the silver background, most of the alignment issues would go away? For me right now, it doesn't bother me at all to be honest. From a couple of feet away, no one else would notice!

Regarding the bottle effect crystal :
Correct me if I'm wrong but as far as I understand it, the distortion occurs when the crystal is not a true double dome camber. So if the inner surface is flatter, the distortion is worse. I'm guessing that Breitling et al make a compromise between clarity and impact resistance. I actually prefer the look of the crystal as shown below.

The crystal diameter is 38.5mm. Same as gen and rep 41mm Navitimers. Usually 1.5mm thick.

Importr you’re a legend mate thanks for the info,
correct! the effect is caused by different curvature of the inner and outer surfaces.
okay so the rep crystal has no bottle effect but if the same size as gen I might install the gen.
i do prefer the non lense effect though I know what you mean as you can see the dial clearer on an angle.

Damn. Really sorry to hear that man. I know how much you were looking forward to this watch. I’m awaiting QC and hoping for a smooth transaction without any surprises on delivery.

OP, what are your observations of the deployment clasp which goes on the leather now that you’ve had it for a few days? Comparable to gen?

I love deployants but always hesitant to use rep ones as in the past they start to ‘pop off’ themselves over time.

This one look better?

This new style of clasp I can't compare because I've never handled the gen in this style. However, it is the most comfortable breitling deployant I've ever worn. I'm not sure why... Perhaps it's because the profile is slimmer than previous versions so it doesn't dig into the wrist.
It hasn't popped open on its own yet.

The rep strap is very soft too.
I don't think the blue colour is as dark as gen, it seems lighter? The padding isn't as thick as gen but I've seen new gen straps with a flatter padding.... Which no doubt owes to it being more pliable.

I think, if you had the brown or black rep deploy strap, then you'll be quite happy.

Here's something I noticed on mine, and I think it affects all of them... The gap between the G and R on chronographe

Again, it doesn't bother me but it's worth noting. Unlike the Gertifie that some reps came out with!
:D

I noticed the misalignment.. I think it’ll be something some will take issues with, but this dial is so busy that it doesn’t matter to me. I’ll take more pics when i get it.

To me, the applied “B” on the dial was a deal breaker when I initially saw the photos. On your photos it doesn’t bother me as much since it’s actually polished nicely. What’s your take on the dial printing and applied “B”?
