Importr , did you by any chance take a picture or note the crystal while it was off? The 46s have a yellow tint to them. Does this?
I know what you mean because the slide rules usually end up looking yellowy.
As far as I'm aware, the crystal doesn't have that yellowy tint to it. In this case, the KOR crystal looks OK. The slide rule is the correct pale silver colour.
The blue AR is is possibly 10% less strong than GF, but it is still effective. I'm fussy too, but I wouldn't say that it bothers me, nor would I be thinking about needing a Prof crystal job...
Edit: you know what, the more I look at GF watches on various QC pics, the more I think that the KOR ar coating is better? It seems less reflective than GF. My Blackbird from GF has an excessive blue reflection that the KOR Navitimer doesn't have...
