Here’s a great way to help that bracelet feel more comfortable: in a Ziploc bag, put the bracelet with 4 to 6 ounces of coconut oil. Zip up the bag and placed the bag and a bowl of very hot water. Let it sit for a half an hour and come back to it, working the bracelet links back-and-forth through the bag. Flip the bracelet over inside the bag and replace the process a couple of times. You’ll have to jump out and reheat the water a few times. Let it sit overnight, and then do it one more time in the morning. Then remove from the bag and Wrap it up in a paper towel and let it sit for a bit laying flat, then flip it over and let it sit some more. Then your bracelet should be buttery smooth.

almost sounds like a cooking receipt haha, thanks for the advice!! the oil inbetween the links did enough of a job for me

I'm interested in doing this, but does it leave the bracelet greasy for a long time afterwards? I've always found cocunut oil to liquify at low temperatures does it not leak out all the time?

If you follow the procedure outlined, you should be fine.

Hey guys, if someone in EU is selling this watch, please let me know. I am looking for buying a gen but due to covid its hard to just go to the dealer and check it on the wrist. I am a bit scared it could be to big on my tiny wrist. (size 17cm, width 5,5cm) anyone else with a tiny wrist wearing this beauty?
Alternatively I am looking towards a gen Navitimer Automatic 38mm, but there somehow I don't feeld this is a real Breitling, because I consider Breitling as a Chrono :)

Ok so me again. I am on the fence Black or Blue? Which is more accurate to gen? I am looking towards a blue gen anyway.
My TD has all versions available.

How is the thickness compared to the gen? I hesitate with the non chrono version which is much slimmer 10mm vs 15.5mm

I think i read somewhere 14.5mm? Just sent funds to my TD. Cannot wait to check this out as i am looking towards the gen. I am just buying the rep to see how it wears. If this is to big for my wrist i will try the non Chrono as well.

I have the blue but I’d say black.. to me the blue is too dark.. I can’t find a relative gen match to the color blue offered by KOR anywhere.. every time I think I found a color match, it ends up being black..
but if you get the blue it won’t matter much bc most people will think it’s black anyway!

Thank you for the infos! I guess I might go with the black.

How do you compare the weight and thickness with the gen?

I am curious to see it in real. On some pics my TD sent me it looks blueish. What I think is more funny is that you get a blue strap whilst on a gen you can just buy it on a black or brown leather :).

The only one that looks very close to the gen is the white one. Both blue and black are missing the correct reflective paint on the dial as per gen. When the sun hits the paintings on the dial, they shine on the gen (similar to sunburst effect, but silvery). On the rep it's not present. White dial doesn't suffer from this issue.

I just got a blue dial (thanx to @RepWatchNoob), and overall I must say I'm very seduced by this Navi.

It feels good, looks good, slide rule is well aligned, DW is not an issue IMO, 7750 works flawlessly and the finishings are very decent.
On the downside, the blue dial may show a nice sunburst effect but is too dark, it almost looks black most of the time. Ok for me, but some may see this as a deal braker and prefer the black version.

Now when it comes to this model in general, I think I'd prefer a 43mm Navi. If the 46mm of the World gave me the feeling to wear a kitchen plate, the 41mm looks a tad bit small. But hey, very good sport/dress balance and a real gem on the wrist nonetheless.

I am not a Navi specialist, but IMO KOR did a nice job here, only the blue dial could benefit an upgrade.

Hello,

After waiting for a fully functional tri-compass non-sunekn-date navi and coming to the conclusion that it will never happen, I have decided to go for this KOR version.
I have ordered it on trustytime. Andrew is really an exquisite person. However, I have received the QC pics and there is a problem on the 2 hours marker as shown in the pictures below:

I have asked for macro and a lume shot to see if it is really bad or not.

I know that once I have seen it, I will not be able to "unsee" it and it will spoil my pleasure of wearing the watch :(
But I would really like your expert advice :) Am I being too picky ? Does it justify rejecting the watch ?

Cheers,
GA

Didn’t see it at first. But then did. Yeah. That’s a problem worth sorting out now.

I would ask for another...it’s the only thing I would look at if it were on my wrist:(
