Im contemplating the Nautilus 5712 RG PPF.

The watch looks amazing.

Any feedback on how PP rose gold plating holds up?

RG plating on good reps I find is fine, even for a few years if you are reasonably careful with it, but I just checked my gen against other pure RG reps I have and the gen is, much like AP, a mix of RG and YG, whereas all the reps I have are pure RG ie more coppery. I doubt this one will not be straight up RG as well.

The other issue with the V1 is that it's thicker. Not by a lot, but v2 is very close to gen in thickness (8.52mm vs 8.8mm) whereas v1 is 9.5mm.

Sorry, I messed up on the nomenclature. I meant the earlier (v1) version is thicker compared to the later one.

Beautiful! Interested to know if the bracelet links are held by pins or by screws. The latter would facilitate bracelet adjustments.

The 5712 /1R came out late last year. This is the only REP so far. No news on any V2. According to PT PPF only make a small batch of the 1Rs.
