Very good pics, well showed there are no big differences in lugs, although there are someones.
I agree about the quality of KW CG, but you should remark the polishing of the case, mainly on inner lugs, in lugs joining the case and general finsh are better in KW. More care for details, this is the reason of the price IMO.
The bezel is more inaccurate in KW but has better finish and beauty.

I agree with the purple teint, but I insist it is no so noticeable in practice.
I would not change the KW crystal for a Noob or H
KW crystal was the first thing I liked of this watch, and purple tint the first to regret

Same here, although I'd call it violet because it contains more of a bluish hue than purple (reddish hue..)
But anyway - it's very subtle on my sample at least.

As a man, i cannot distinguish purple from violet.....

Frankly, I am not able to notice it looking at those two cases side by side without a loupe. And I am able to spot the lack of $100 in my wallet even when I'm drunk

We all know the Chineese quality check procedures I can live without tubes anyway.

I noticed the lug screw position without a loupe. It was pretty obvious as it touches the edge....


On the wrist no one would notice, but just looking at it it seems "odd" even if you have never seen a pam before, imo.

Yes, you are right, your watch seems not have the lug screw hole so bad placed as my sample and the pics I have seen. Your seems just a little high.
It really is a matter of machining, if Kuvarsit changes the machine instructions it will get a correct position directly.
The issue concerning hole position is easily amendable
Maybe KW has already made something at this regard

But look the contour of the lug when they are joining the case and the inner part between lugs. And the finish of the bezel (although less accurate)

In the first contact with the watch, I was impressed directly by the quality of the crystal and I was also directly annoyed by the faint purple colour of the AR.
I consulted KW about the purple tint and they said the crystal was a GEN and that the GEN had purple tint too. I don't believe that. Maybe the crystal is made in Swiss with swiss standard but I think it is not GEN.
It really is the only crystal having a correct beveled edge, Noob is very big bevel and H maker a little less big but not correct. The GEN has a little bevel and a raised part non beveled (more or less fifty-fifty).

I repeat my observations in #98 post of this thread:
It really has an awesome look but AR has a very little and faint purple tint. Kuvarsit says it is the same tint as gen. This crystal is raised with a perfect height and bevel.
You can see that you are in front of a different crystal, this is IMO the first thing you notice seeing this watch. KW 417 Crystal is very clear and gives to dial a very impressive gen-like look. It seems you are seeing the dial through a clear lens but without magnification.
Seeing the dial through this crystal, sometimes you have the feeling that the dial is a bit concave, that means more deep at the center and a bit raised at the contour. I have just had this feeling seeing some gen PAMs fitted with non domed crystals.
IMO this crystal makes that other crystal reps seem a little “plasticâ€-like (exaggerating a little, of course).

In the english language there are a plethora (Crap Load) of different words to describe colors that all basically mean the same thing.

But yes violet would be a lighter purple - somewhere between lilac and purple lol
