It varies from state to state. In Idaho ,carry into a bar is not prohibited. Carrying while under the infuence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited. Since I am carrying to be careful about personal security, I can't think of any good reason I would ever even enter a bar while CCW, forget drinking while packing, even one teeny taste. It may be my right , but it is just asking for trouble IMHO and since I am the one packing, MHO is all that matters to me.Also, when you guys go to a bar, are there any laws to prevent a combination of guns and alcohol?
My CC is in my Avatar

No seriously, it's a .38 special, snub-nosed. But I do keep this in the back of the jeep when I'm out on the road for work.

You yank's are crazy!!!
What ever happened to settling a dispute with a good ol' fashioned punch on....?
Never had a dispute with anyone that couldn't be sorted out with fists, the occasional elbow, head and knees.... I've been taught a few lessons this way too, if I'm honest - lol, hence my good looks!!!!![]()

The guitars are very important, of course, should someone challenge me to a sweet home Alabama duel. Could happen to anyone any moment.
Nope, Belgicistan
My opinion is that a civilian should have the right to protect his family and his home by all means. I mean, most criminals have chosen their job didn't they?
On the other hand, I think I would not like it to have to carry a gun every time I go out of the house.
