The dial is bad and wrong

That's your opinion.

This

Though VSF has not gotten every micromillimeter of detail down, it is so miniscule and insanely difficult to spot on hand that it doesn't matter!

is kennygconspiracy 's review. It's a couple of pages back. I don't want to sound mean but I'll take his opinion over yours

I really should get one myself ... perhaps Santa has one left ....

It's a beautiful watch and yes it has flaws which maybe will be improved in the future but I like it as is, the world map is good looking but not perfect, if you want perfect it's always better to buy the gen, but that's the case for a vast majority of the reps. If you don't like how it looks then don't buy it ;)

This watch exceeds my expectations on my first rep omega. I was looking for a good deal on forum sites/dealers and found the one I am talking is banned here (lowry). So, does it make him untrusted dealer or might user be banned for advertising?

Regarding german speakers defending gen omega vs rep... I met a few...

Fantastic review. This is a great rep for a watch that retails for 9k.

I bought a wordltimer and compared it yesterday with the gen at the omega boutique. The gen is much lighter, feels better on the wrist, the dial has more blue reflections, the map has more relief/texture, and the movement is quieter compared to the vsf replica. Still a good buy for $400 to me but gen is way above!

I Have this rep since 3 months now, and I am reporting issues with the movement: when the watch reach 10pm (so when it's close to change date), the hours hand halts and doesn't proceed, or proceeds very slowly. The watch is fully charged. Do you know what could be causing this and any possible solution?

I would send it for a service. Some cleaning and oil in the right places may do wonders for it.

Anyone have an extra blue rubber strap they’d be willing to part ways with? They aren’t being shipped with both bracelet and strap these days. (Already contacted the fella above but it’s been sold)

Bought this watch thanks to your review and it is absolutely stunning. I am super in love with the watch, been a long time that I've enjoyed a watch that much.

There is one thing that irks me though, even though it is the same as in the gen.

Athen and Moscow should have (at least to my googling skills) the same time right now. It is impossible to set the watch correctly, since either London or Auckland is one hour off. I am not sure what my oversight is here, maybe summer times saving? Anyone any ideas?

Athens does (marked with white color), Moscow doesn't (marked with blue color) have daylight saving time.

You can still find those. Hontwatch had some in stock and I saw QC from other TDs recently.
