Thank you for this wonderful review. The rubber strap is absolutely gorgeous.
May I know how many round you wind the watch until it fully wounded?
My watch will deliver next week =)
Many, many times. The power reserve is shockingly large (90 hours for mine) so it will take a lot of winding. Once done you're set for nearly 4 days.

I am trying to avoid overwind my new watch, do you feel hinder when the watch almost fully wound?
Cause miyota 9015 don't feel hinder even i want the watch manually from scratch to full wound.

You can't overwind an automatic mechanical watch, On a non-automatic you will feel the winding action tighten and then come to a stop.

Wow kennyg what a great review and what a great pickup this watch is. I should consider this a great daily wearer. Looks like my BLNR is going to have competition...
VSF really seem to have elevated the art of rep making to a new level.

Great review and thank you. If you don’t mind, a question about your wrist size? I have a 7.25” wrist and wondering if that would be too small for the watch?

Thanks.

Thanks.

My wrist is approx 1 cm smaller than yours. (mine is 17 cm)

Heres a photo with a gen for comparison. I thought it was 2 big for me. Otherwise its a real beauty!

My ATW finally arrived. Tested all the function and it worked well. You can clearly hear the hour hand feedback when adjusting world time. I changed to the rubber strap to pair the dial color.
I also manually winded the watch, which is about 65 rounds you can clearly feel some resistance as both barrels are fully wind. My advise do not manually overwind the watch !!!
Currently I am testing the power reserve and time variation. Hopefully my ATW has the same quality as Kenny.

Great review, thank you. Both the bracelet and strap look great with this watch. Think I might give the slight edge to the rubber strap though since it complements the dial color nicely.

Great Review Kenny. Just to add that the offer that came with the free rubber band didn't came with the correct spring bars. Omega uses 19mm for the bracelet and 20mm for the rubber bands, so it will pop out if you use the spring bars from the bracelet. Also I have tried the gen at Omega boutique and it was actually the same color as the vsf, omega sales man told me there's different color dial variations apparently, just wanted to add that as some of gens online have a lighter blue hue on the map. Probably the most beautiful rep I own.

I made a mistake when I originally gave this info. Once I got my own Worldtimer, I realized that this watch is a 21mm lug. I recommend 21mm springbars with a very slight curve to help installation.

I both love and hate this review. I love it, because it's such a gorgeous watch and you've covered all the important details complete with fantastic photos, so thank you for that. I hate it however, as I now have to buy one ????

Yesterday I received mine in intact condition through my dealer's PWS. What a gorgeous watch! Anyone who likes this style, size and needs a (one more :) worldtimer then it's a must buy imo.

I can confirm kennygconspiracy 's finding on the wobbling crown. So this is a production and not an individual flaw.

Just got my WorldTimer in this morning. Again, VSF nailed it - spot on with the gen. And the crown wobble is a 'feature, not a bug' in every VSF Omega GMT I've had - and I'm up to seven now. Lighting really comes into play when judging the blues of this watch, but it is worth every penny.

Beautiful watch, did you have any issues when swapping from the bracelet to the rubber?

No I didn't, but I have a LOT of experience switching out bands and working on watches in general. For someone less familiar or without the right tools, yes I can see where it would be a bitch. A slight bend in the middle of the spring bar definitely would help make the process easier. But be careful, as they are 21mm spring bars, they don't exactly grow on trees or are stocked at your local Walmart.
