Hi omega man, i got myself one and i think the quality is stunning. Everything seems to be perfect except for 'original gas...ring lock system' looks too thin comparing to yours. Do you know if noob produces too different batch?

Hi om3ga, I have also bought this watch within the last 2 weeks and agree its quality is Fantastic! I've got a gen bezel assembly currently with DHL on its way to be, will post pics when it's been installed!

Sweet good luck dude. Keep in mind that you will require the ENTIRE bezel assembly in order to make it work. The rep crystal retainer does not marry up with the bezel ring.

From what I hear tolerances are different.

Depends how much money you got to waste (I mean spend) :lol: joking

If I were you, the gen crystal is just like a rep one, no AR (pointless idea since its a diving watch)... If I were you I'd rather spend the money on getting the rep crystal AR'd, either single coat or double

I found a gen crystal for 180 euro, new ! Only one I've managed to find though?! :culpability:

Hopefully I won't need to swap out the rep one and the bezel fits!

Quick update, my gen Bezel assembly arrived today, after comparing the gen bezel with the rep bezel they look identical externally the finish, smooth cuts, shape of the cuts etc
Internally they differ in height and this causes the gen assembly to sit slightly off the case, given the tight click / turn of the rep bezel I have opted to just swap out the ceramic bezel inserts.

Job done and its looking good! :matty:

Benjji it's fair to say noob have done a good job with the insert engraving font style and size etc but the gen insert platinum colour is noticeably different to the rep white, indoors the gen insert looks almost silver and this morning wearing it outside in the sunshine it looks far more white with tiny speckles.

the platinum paint on the gen somehow gives the engraving a deeper 3D look from certain angles too!

I'm really pleased with the end result! Just need to get it waterproofed now

Pablo, does the gen insert fit rep bezel assembly easily? I have a gen insert and planning on simply swapping the bezel insert while keeping the rep bezel assembly.

i would be quite surprised for the gen insert to fit in the rep assembly.i think it will sit way way way to low as the gen insert is 5 times thinner than the rep.so 3m tape will be needed imo.but if you have the gen assembly you should use it to get the gen click and feel,if installed correctly it will fit nice and tight
