Thanks again set2374 for sharing this job
I have just received my KW PAM382, but I have not had time to make a complete review just a little inspection. I agree it is really well made and with the typical KW quality finish very gen-like. As set2374 says this watch “feels†well finished, but this is just because it is actually well finished.
It is obvious that the watch have several flaws as all the reps, and they are even more obvious since this watch is from the beginning under the microscope. Few rep watches would tolerate such a scrutiny without being discredited.
Regarding the bronze material, I would like no comment about until knowing the chemical analysis, which hopefully I will be able to get a soon as possible if I receive the sample of a 382 case from KW. Therefore we should wait for the final result in order to avoid unnecessary and useless comments. Besides, colour also changes a lot depending on the environment where the watch has got the patina. Anyway the watch seems to have a colour very similar to some gens.
I agree with set2374 that the case is accurate and seems better than ZFac in shape. From NCchef comparison review we know that ZFac case is different to KW case, but we can see by the pics published by set 2374 that KW looks the same as gen. Just we would need some comparison pics with the gen shape that I hope to take them when I have received mine.
KW CG finish is near the level of the gen. The roller support of the lever in set2374 watch is obviously defective and the others that I have seen (mine included) were correct. This KW CG is chamfered on the side edges, but corners, which are more chamfered in gen, are less chamfered or just a bit chamfered in KW. In this regard ZFac is worse because it has not at all chamfered edges or corners. In below pic we can see the gen CG chanfered marked by a green arrow
GEN PAM 382 CHANFERED CORNERS IN CG
Nice to see the rotation working of the KW seems improved in relation to ZFac version. But it is far from the working of a PAM 243 Noob. KW working is smooth, I would say too smooth, it seems even dampened by a very consistent grease, but the snap between steps is not as firm and precise as desirable and there is still a little gap.
Pearl and pearl bezel shape are better in KW version which is just a bit rounded as set2374 says, although KW first batch was a little too greenish. It seems that KW has already corrected the colour to white in current batches (to be confirmed). Anyway, as commented by set2374, the charged lume can give a bit greenish colour even in the gen, many people, used to ZFac version, are comparing the KW with the ZFac instead of with the gen.
Litte dots on bezel seems worse finished, less rounded and uneven in comparison to gen ones. 15-30-45 markers are good enough, although the set2374 watch has the 15 marker a bit off the center. Minute bezel markers between 12 and 3 are similar to the gen but are less crisp and sharp with less clean contours.
Regarding knurling on bezel I think KW has more accurate section shape either horizontal (parallel section to dial surface) or vertical (perpendicular to dial surface). Just I have seen that KW upper external edge of bezel is rounded and no very polished, whereas gen edge is flat machined, very sharp, and nicely polished.
In below pic you can see the horizontal section of the knurling in orange colour. It is evident that Gen and KW are similar, but I’m marking with the green arrow the upper external edge of the bezel and it is evident that KW is rounded and merely polished but gen is flat, sharp and very polished. Anyway better than ZFac knurling overall.
See the horizontal section of KW bezel knurling in bellow pic. You can see that the inner grove has the deepest part rounded just like gen groove. I have marked in orange colour the shape of the knurling horizontal section in gen and KW bezels. We can see the sections are very similar
GEN – KW PAM 382 BEZEL KNURLING HORIZONTAL SECTION COMPARISON
See the horizontal section of ZFac bezel knurling in bellow pic. You can see that the inner grove has the deepest part completely squared, very sharp, whereas gen is completely rounded.
ZFac PAM 382 BEZEL KNURLING HORIZONTAL SECTION (very sharp)
Therefore If we make a direct comparison of horizontal sections of knurlings, we can realize that ZFac has the inner grove very sharp, completely making an angle, whereas KW and gen have completely rounded inner groves. See below pic.

I have extracted the side pics of ZFac and KW PAM 382 as follows:
SIDE VIEW - ZFac (left) KW (right) PAM 382 . From NCchef review
In below pic we can see the comparison between vertical section of the three bezel knurlings. Shape is much more accurate in KW, because ZFac has narrower knurling and much wider inferior chamfered edge, marked with the red arrows. Besides, gen has a slightly (but noticeable) “conical†shape just the same as KW, whereas Zfac vertical section is clearly cylindrical. That is showed with the blue lines drawn in below pic. The pic showed is made from a gen pic and above side pic of NCchef comparison review. As we can see ZFac seems a little weird
KNURLING OF BEZEL VERTICAL SHAPE COMPARISON KW – GEN - ZFac
Dial lume dot markers seem to have thinner golden contour like gen because ZFac has thicker contours
As commented by set2374 Ti caseback and back crystal are very good
When I have time I will try to make a complete review with more details of this KW version mainly in case shape and dial layout
