Quick Question, What is the stock strap length, My wrist is big but it fits me perfect and I want to pick up an orange and green strap but I'm at work and wore an Omega today so I cant measure. I don't like a lot of over hang.

Remind me tonight around 9pm and I will measure as I do not recall.

I have an almost 10 inch wrist I use the 2nd to last hole. And the last one if I want it loose. That leaves not enough excess to put it under the keeper. So I took off the floating keeper and removed the buckle. Then I slid it on right next to the buckle in between it and the sewn down keeper. Now I have no excess at all. The strap I have is a vintagr ostrich leg from panatime. It seems to have the same dimensions as the origional strap. Not sure the exact leagth but I hope this helps

Just bought this bronze buckle off ebay for it. Can't wait to get it. I'm a bit OCD and needed something to match the watch better. These are all over ebay but be careful if any of you get one because there are a bunch of different auctions of different size buckles. This one looks to have the same deeper copper tone that the watch has. I liked that torpedo one too but from pics it looks yellowish. Didn't want to take the risk.

Just to answer my own question the stock strap on the KW is 125 X 75 and on my 8.25 in or 20.5 cm wrist that is fine.

Does anyone know a vendor that sells straps that have the same approx. color as the OEM straps green and orange tan light brown.

KW PAM 382 with movement KP9000-V2 is ready

http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=238690

It seems that KW has not weakened the real balance cock (or maybe they have weakened it just a little) and we will not have problems about the working of this "new" KW movement
We would need to confirm it
ALE

Ale, what do you mean with "KW has not weakened the real balance cock" ? Is it you mean with this new release, the balance cock is more weak than before? Or is it the opposite?

My KW v1 has movement problems since I received it and I am curious does it have any relation with what you just said here?

I bought the z factory v2 and it's been running without issue. Stunning rep. However I plan on getting the KW Bronzo before years end. Love this watch so much I must have two!

In the versions V2 of non inverted decoration layout movements, makers have kept the real balance cock and added a false decoration bridge orientated in the same way as the original in order to get a non inverted decoration circular bridge and get correct orientation of the inscriptions

In order to "hide" the real balance cock ZFac has reduced it to a thin bar and I think we could get problems of working of the movement, because maker has reduced a lot the balance cock and this is the bridge supporting the Incabloc system of the Balance wheel.
It seems that KW has kept the real balance cock (or reduced it just a little) and the real balance cock remains actually hidden under the false escapement wheel. Due to KW has not reduced the balance cock (at least not strongly) we could expect a similar working of the movement.

In V1 versions there is no modification of balance cock and it is covered by the false decoration balance cock bridge. The issues in your movement should be for other reasons

I could not totally understand what you are saying, but I think what you are telling me is:
1. KW v1 and v2 will have similar working performance of the movement
2. ZF v1 and v2, both have 'thinner' balance cock, and may result in better performance of movement overall than KW's
3. By reducing / make the balance cock thinner, a maker can improve the performance of the movement

Please correct me and show me which of these statements is a mistake. Very grateful to have this kind of knowledge from you :)

Also, I have always wanted to ask,
When we get a DOA automatic movement (in this case I am referring specifically to a 7750), and when after being diassembled by a watch repairman, he saw nothing damaged/broken, is it ALWAYS be the case that the movement will always be able to be repaired? Or is there some cases where a "dead" / dying movement will not be able to be serviced and back to normal working again?

I surely didn’t explain correctly the matter

You cannot improve the performance of a movement reducing the balance cock.
The balance cock is the bridge to support the Incabloc sytem which support the balance wheel. Therefore I’m afraid that a movement with the balance cock reduced could get working problems, because a weakened balance cock could transfer to the balance wheel more vibrations or external movements.
ZFac V2 has reduced the balance cock just to a bar, to do it less visible, and could have working problems. But we only will know it in the future after some months of checking
ZFac V1 has not reduced the balance wheel. Therefore ZFac V1 will gte the same problems as typical decorated A7750 movements
KW V2 has not reduced (or has reduced it just a bit) the balance cock. Therefore we should expect less differences in the working of the movement.
KW V1, the same as ZFac V1, has not reduced the balance wheel. Therefore KW V1, the same as ZFac V1, will get the same problems as typical decorated A7750 movements.
