I started this thread thinking it would be a quick review and it took on a life of its own. :)

Excellent review! What strap is that and where did you purchase your KW from?

It's ostrich leg and I got the strap from Panatime. I bought the watch from sead (super mirrors).

Nalomb, I think I am getting the same batch as you are.
Mine definitely dies before that 12hrs off my wrist.

And 90% of the time (the longer I don't use it), I have to bump the watch hard to a pillow or something else to make the movement starts. Simple time-setting and then wear it would not do any good.

To the OP, I think you are having the latest batch from KW. I can see that from the white pearl. Mine and I'm sure nalomb's is an old batch with greenish pearl.
Oh yea, one more thing, despite all lighting conditions, I can still be SURE there is really 2 pearl colors out in the market.
Congrats man, you are lucky.
Sultan, I had mine sitting in the box for around 38 hours and it was still running strong and keeping perfect time. I couldn't continue the PR test because, the watch screamed for wrist time!

I also just ordered a dark mocha Rios1931 leather strap with cream stitching to give it a different look. Now, if I can only get my KW 312 back from sead!!!!

Nice strap! Where did you order it from? My KW is coming next week and Mark is making sure the pearl is white for me and aligned perfectly in center... I hope he can pull it off!

It's the same strap as in the earlier pictures. Here's the link: http://www.panatime.com/neflvibrgeos.html. I bought it an XL, but this is the standard size. It's a great quality strap and well priced.

Thanks I see it's a 26mm... Will the 24mm ones fit the KW as well?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nope. The lug width for the 382 is 26mm and the 382 looks best IMHO with a pre-v vintage style strap (26/26).

So a 26/24 will not work?

Sure, you can you a 26/24, but the titanium tang won't fit and I am not sure the tapered strap works well for this watch. It a matter of taste, so it's your call.

Sick bro! I'm so excited I just got my QC, accepted, and the pearl looks white and centered! I'm sure someone here will find something wrong, but I am content! Ordering my straps now thanks to you! ;)

The KW strap is pretty good and it's decent leather. I gave mine the distressed look by wearing it in the shower. :) That said, I would note that waterproofing on my 382 could stand some improvement. It fogged up on me. :( No biggie to get rid of the fog, but waterproofing it has proven more difficult. Any one have any for how to safely access the button to eject the crown/stem so I can adjust the nut on the tube and get some grease in there??? Thanks!
