I forgot how fast is DHL. It literally left yesterday from HKG and its already in Cincinnati. Not long now.

Mine arrived last Sat in Cinci and to my surprise was delivered on Sunday.

Already on the lookout for a red seconds hand, might see if Tripdog fancies bashing it around a bit for me and make it look a little less 'straight out the sweatshop'

I kind of like the character of a hollow end link, always gappy after years of use. Even SELs loosen with time

No luminous dot at 6 o'clock... Nooooooooooooo....

And the TswissT text is in the wrong place

Sub dial at 6 is too low also, it’s a cheap rep it’s not going to be perfect, the rest of it is good these are minor things. Look at the high end stuff still get lots of details wrong.

Sub dial had to be lower to accommodate the hand position. Adding the Swiss text doesn't leave any room for the lume dot. 12 o'clock doesn't have one either, so at least it's symmetrical.

Any modder recommendation for the red seconds hand and aging? I’ve lost touch with modders. My last was Johnny Lazar for my Live and Let Die Submariner ;(

Many sites reference gen thickness at 12,5/13,5 not 10 as you say
Since modern daytonas are a 13,5 too with a slimmer chrono movement, I’m pretty confident 1960’s models where not 10mm

Though i agree 15mm makes it quite big since its only 36-37mm dial. Any feedback on how it wears for those who have received one already? Is the thickness a visual issue for you?
