Finny thing is old TF 15400 caseback fits on JF 15400 making it thinner.

he is just pointing out that the 15400 doesn't have the gen thinness.

V3 thickness has not changed since v2. You have a good looking example.

The v3 was out of stock for a while....so some of us where hoping that they would release a “new” version with gen like thinness...but it seems like they have only updated the DW font.

Who’s your TD?
I always have to wait 1 to 2 weeks on QC from Toro Bravo. Then when accepted I have to remind him to ship the package or it will take him another week just to ship it. He will never send me tracking if I don’t remind him. I’m done with him.

TF isn’t possible to buy anymore. They (TF) stopped producing the 15400.

But you are right the edges of the TF caseback is the closest to gen from all reps.

Even if you thin down the caseback from the JF, the edges are still different compare to the gen

I don’t use TDs anymore. They take too long and make millions!! Rather support small time dealers trying to make a living. I wouldn’t recommend this route for those that don’t use disposable cash for this hobby.

Is it me or the dial print is better on the white dial than the blue dial? Blue dial "SWISS MADE" looks horrible in the blue dials.

Maybe it was already discussed and I've missed it, but i don't get why they could not get the thickness right? the gen is 9.8mm, there are already 9mm reps with the same movement (9015), so what's the problem here?

The 9mm reps have a 9015 with custom bridges, the 15400 is a standard 9015 with a deco plate on top, adding to the thickness

I see. thank you! so basically JF can do better if they invest in modding 9015 instead of just putting a deco plate... I guess I'll wait for v4 :\
