Its a nice looking watch but the printing is shit like hell, like on all the JF versions. I really wanted to get the new 15202 but wtf is wrong with JF just print the goddamn markers crisp, cant believe that my 140 $ quartz have better printing -.-

Edit: Its the first time i see a AP logo no crooked or shifted to the right/left and its not full of dust and shit lol

Some are worse than others tho, this seemed one of the better ones. I’m think my date font isn’t like mechs, the numbers are differ shape, can see it on the number 1s

Wish I saw this before I missed out on the new DW. Although its luck of the draw I guess. Looks better for sure.

They really must upgrade the "Audemars Piguet" writing its so thin, on Gen its way thicker/bolder, on the V2 they had the old spacing but thick/bold printing. Time for a V4 lol

10.8 is actually OK if you measure including the xtal, my old V2 TT was 11.2 including the xtal and my V2J was 10.9mm, it seems the cases vary. The xtal usually stands proud by .5mm - .6mm so the case set is probably 10.3. I got .6mm taken off the V2 leaving the case set at 10.03. The V2J is still a work in progress, hopefully it will work out closer to the magic 9.85.

Yes including xtal, my v2j was 11mm. The discrepancy is probably due to crystal height.

Blue on the v3 is definitely a lot duller compared to my v2j which was vibrant

The date font looks to be updated. I saw a supposed JF V3 from one of the QC pics albums of a non-TD here (but TD on the other site) and the date looks much closer to gen.

If only they could work on the print of line markers and SWISS MADE

Yup those blue dials have shit print but black dials look extreamly well printed in JF standards - black dial minute markers look nice and crisp!

Good news is that the lume is matched between dial and hands.

On my previous v3, the hands were white lume and the hour markers were green

To my understanding it is a silent update so every TD should be abled to get it for you. Even I got one (black) from a non TD and if i remember well mech500 buys from Non TDs as well but i could be wrong in this particular case

Now I’ve gone back through the pics, the ones that have it are very Gen like indeed. @Lengeds black dial visual comparison his JF has the new font and its exactly like Gen just a hair more bold.

I’ll check mine closer when it arrives but I believe I missed out.

Sometimes I think the rep industry doesn’t want to make “the perfect rep”. On some watches there are only very some details which are missing and easy to make. For example the case thickness should be very easy to get at least to 10 mm. I guess they don’t want to produce a perfect rep and make some Extra mistakes on every new version, to doesn’t destroy the business for them. Of course if it’s would come a perfect rep it wouldn’t be necessary to
Make a new version because nobody would buy if they are absolutely satisfied. So I gues if there will come once a closer caseback something will be wrong with the dial again.
