Btw as regards the 15400 stock bracelets, for all those who have few links taken off for a better fit . Is the stock bracelet very loose and did you have to take off a lot of links?

here they copied that version:

The dial was changed some years ago, they are batches with new AP logo and the old blue + audemars piguet thinner writing so the V2 is accurate and change the tone in daylight like gen.

Edit: As you can see even the "thicker" second hand was Gen a few years ago, they changed the second hand in 2016/2017 i think + changed the dial very often, the new 2018 looks completly different more blue/purple.

AP is really try to bring something new every year.

I took off two links with the V3 to make it sized to my about 7 inches wrist (17/18 cm)

I thought it's always expected to take of a few links unless you have gigantic wrists. When I first got mine I thought I had to remove all of the links, but turns out just had to remove around half of it.

I think they have the only option to say like that intentionally in order to sell the current V3 stock which is already produced.

Finally i receive my blue 15400 v3
What a beatiful watch, it's just stunning, the bracelet / case catch every single piece of light and reflect it right in your face
The dial is also very great, just the minute marker has not so white , but instead, i love it !

New DW font is definitely much closer to gen, though to my eyes still a touch too thick. Much improved, though.

I know there are tons of pics to compare to, but what exactly changed with the date font? My eyes are bad at detecting minor changes

Thats the V2 front maybe they fucked up the v3 batch at one point but the font size is the "thin" ones normally.
