I'm just going by torch's pictures, but the blue dial looks pretty good to me....not that I've seen the Gen in the flesh.
I can do a few side by side pictures when it turns up....

I saw a blue dial 15400 at Bucherer Frankfurt. The dial and hands were gorgeous (as was the movement, naturally), but i was disappointed by the case. The case had seemed to pick up minor scratches and dust pretty badly. It was a showroom model without plastic.

The Gen Looks to have a lighter Matt finish compared to the J12 version, but you can't have everything I guess.
update: I'm aware this has been said a number of times before
Gen AP watches are scratch magnets.
Many people who own gen APs are replacing bazels or even entire cases at some point.
You could remove the rep minute markers and replate/relume them. They are inserted through the back with two feet and completely removable.
Wait, really? The hour markers are removable but the minute markers are painted on.
Here's what I mean:
^^ as you can see that the minute marker paint is not very crisp. The "Swiss made" txt is also very faint. All x3JF 15400s I've owned have this issue. It doesn't really bother me but it's the biggest "tell" as far as I can see. Gen print is so much more crisp.
do the second batch jf's have a tiny space between the 12 maker? Just got my QC pics and it's really the only thing bugging me...
Its the new batch. Gens have it too. I held back because id this 'gap'. Pulled the trigger in the end without regret. Its a stunning piece and the 'gap' is not even visible in real life!
Would you care to share which model you saw with the gap? I couldn't find any gen pics with the gap on the web and just actually passed by an AD today and couldn't see it.
Also the new batch has a nicer dial. Anyways, here's a gen:
The gap difference is only noticeable in these high-res 10 times zoomed in pics, but in real life there's hardly a difference!

My QC pics here looks like the right Marker is slightly crooked but I also see this issue in the other Thread so its normal? Approve or not? Maybe the whole Batch has this issue.

Bud there is literally nothing wrong here they you will see in real life.

Mine came in today. Happy I waited for V2. The dial is very impressive. This watch probably goes into my top 5 AP reps list now. I hope they update the black dial to this level soon.
Rebrushed bezel, cleaned dial and hands, installed 2XAR crystal, cleaned bracelet, installed genuine OEM AP screws and nuts (with modification).
