it feels something is wrong, the arabic is smaller, the hand is different, the crown guard shape is...

just doesnt have the feeling yet.....

I agree with you. But little by little with threads like these, they are growing on me. Hopefully i'll like them by the time j12 get around to releasing them

doha, trulli, 2014 roo are all open heart. Hope j12 will release an older roo with close case back.

like worth ave, reedition Sing GP, pride of rusia and many close case back.

The new 2014s are definitely more legible than the older ROOs. Sometimes I really have a hard time to tell the time on some ROOs. And then I get stuck staring at the watch if it is brightly coloured or highly contrasted. This is particularly dangerous during high-speed driving in crowded traffic conditions.

Are you sure you're stun because hard to read?

Not because you looking at the flaws and your new sub dial modifications,new relume or bleached dial?

I will say this watch has it strengths. It would look good on rubber, bracelet, RBII style, Montoya style, hornbacks, and alcantara straps. It's very versatile and I think it looks pretty cool.

What kills me is the seconds hand chrono. They got rid of the numbers and it stands out so bad. Absolutely ruins the watch if you ask me. It's just a big......sad.....huge.....lonely black spot on the face of the watch! Haha

I absolutely love this watch. I'd say go Gen but I can't make the call for you. When this gets repped I'll be the first to grab this, or any of the other new 2014 models

after reading this thread 2 days a go i saw the awsome new 2014 model in grey not my style so went to audemars site and fall in love with the new safari... had allready a gen old one from 2008.... and guess what... sold the old one and bought the new one
