Its just the light it looks 1:1 like the others.

No mate look at the 2 posts torch posted def a different dial one from sales thread and one he bought.

Can someone post a picture with the two side by side? For me it looks like they completly f**cked up the dial spacing and thats the reason why it looks different.

But they f**cked up the dial the spacing over Automatic is way to much and also under the "Audemars Piguet" writing.

Id say the individual squares look sharper. Look square by square the one I have and the stickered one torch posted are a bit more rounded on the edges the new one has a little sharper edges which creates a more grid look like gen it gives the appearance of less gap between squares..

I am in process of ordering mine real soon here. Looking forward in getting the JF AP 15400 RG Black Dial, and also a SMP Lover black croco strap. Is there anything I should look for to confirm mine is a V2? What were the updates compared from V1 to V2.. And what is this "tap" thing people keep mentioning?

You could be right but maybe it's just the photo? We must wait until someone has both versions.

I will order this silentky updated dial as well

But from the photos I got from the internet, old one seems to be more similar to gen at certain angles and light conditions

This new dial reminded me my old TF dial, squares were better but reflections was off compared to the gen

I'd say the dials getting closer to gen mate with this update! The sunburst effect when the light hits new dial looks more gen! Good work with the pics

It does seem like v2.2 (if it really is updated) has a better dial..
I have the v2 with a little bit more rounded 'squares', need more pics of the new supposed 2.2!

Hi guys I just received my qc pics and I can't tell which version this Is. Is this the new v2.2? Should I accept it?

For my un trained eye the ap logo looks slightly crooked and the "Swiss made" doesn't look very even either. Am I wrong?

Thanks guys I've already rejected it for that reason but how do I tell if the dial is the updated v2.2 for the next one bc I don't see differences in the pics?
