I have the blue one and I used to have the black with v2 logo but with v1 dial.

Dont get me wrong I love my blue dial but at some angles it looks dull and at some angles it looks like gen and awesome

However, black v2 with updated dial, looks maybe a bit closer to gen at different angles, particularly due to its color being black (always more difficult to rep blue colors i dont know why)
Plus, black color reveals the sharp shaped tapisserie of the JF less (gen looks smooth like silk)

But very very difficult to differentiate from a reasonable distance anyway

So i agree with you but i believe black is a bit closer to gen

But Blue have more "shades" of blue not like black who has only two (dark or light) thats the reason why i dont buy a black one. Because i like the different blue shades of mine and i think you will not called out because the blue one is VERY limited. The white/grey and black one not.

The tap size on the dial looks a little bit smaller than the one in the blue. Is that what you were referring to?

Saw this in sales thread...guy said he bought a week ago this tap looks different from mine? I have v2 rg with silver dial.. is this a small update to the dial I wonder? Maybe it's just my eyes been looking at 1 to many 15400s lol

Cruel world man!! I'm considering getting shot of mine this updated dial looks very good! I saw the updated black one on a video but convinced myself mine was the same... it's not lol

Its just the light it looks the squars are 1:1 like the others.

But they f**cked up the dial the spacing over Automatic is way to much and also under the "Audemars Piguet" writing.
