The GP models are not my taste (any of 3), personally. But the built is awesome...
Even my TI schumi dial is 'wrong' but I like the watch in every part
For the price you are alot further with the JF GPs than I was with the Noob donor GPs with my GP mod projects.
Maybe some people will be entirely happy with having these JF GPs at the level of incompletion and imperfection they are at.
There are certain aspects of them I do not think I personally could live with, but they are priced fairly, and give you a more developed basis for future mods if you want to make them.
At least you do not need to replace all of the FC parts with Gio/Imacknockov parts, or replace the screws with Ti4 screws (they look good on the JF), or even have the crystal/cyclops treated with 2XAR (looks fine the way it is), or even media blast the SS parts that need it.
JF did a very good job, if not a perfect job.

The FC is all about the anodized red Dial ! Which is absent ! I do not believe they did not read the different forums, potential buyers 've been stressing that issue for ages
I am extremely disappointed, I currently can not justify my purchase of the Zorro's running on a 7750 with no possibility to swap it with a reliable swissie...
Meh.. I go back to the PAM section...

After seeing the price , I think it's actually not as bad regardless of the flaws. Now what are the chances of running into a Gen owner or maybe Zorro and if you do just run as fast as you can away from them lool hmy: . I actually think from Ken and Ryan's pics the dial is a little different from the old noob dial even though it's not metallic/anodised but it looks Ok for what it is... On the positive note , just see it as a good base on which to do some modding or else wear it as it is confidently ...

The build quality looks great up there with the Schumacher TI which I have and is fantastic.
I mi think I will get one definitely. It will still need a service though and maybe a domi/guru crystal.

From the way that the screw heads on the side of the deco plates are all perfectly aligned, I am getting the ill feeling that the plates are glued onto the movement.
Sounds like major trouble when it comes time for servicing. Maybe the throw away & buy another mentality will set in eventually, instead of prolonging ownership with preventative maintenance....?
I am still sooooo extremely disappointed. And Zorro says his GP's are already sold out. Since the start of my interest in AP's the FC GP was my holy grail watch and now I cant buy the FC GP so I hope now that do a nice 15400 with movement plates.
The diver is nice to have with movement plates but I couldnt care that much as nobody will ask to look at it, at least when I take off my watch the caseback and wrist smell really horribly
I dont know if I will buy a FC GP as I have 2 left hands when it comes to technical things and thus modding is not my game to play so maybe a RG GP but I am not sure anymore. I might just spend some more money on nice straps so I can change the looks of my current collection a bit more...

Be patient the AP experts will chime in soon enough and we all will know what is needed, can be done, or whether to just live with it. Rep hobby = patience

so much for "invisible" improvements. imo, at that price compared to how much work and mods had to be done for the noob to achieve what jf has done, its a bloody good effort.
