That rotor deco plate sits on top of the rotor bearings and adds a little width. Maybe they could not fit it into the case.

Basically having a. Chrome base then adonised paint. I sprayed these by hand and endless effort to get the result...

Did i expect any better? Nah, but I guess I was just optimistic haha :ranting2: ... Tachy , dial and hands exactly as the old noob version, they just prefer the whole V1, V2 trend I guess..... Not impressed and seems like it's going to be the worst version of the 3 versions ....

I might actually go for a another AP diver, I have 2 already: SS and FC. Maybe a ceramic. Or maybe a Blancpain (was thinking of the RG Fifty fathoms for quite some time). But might go for a RG AP GP as the dial is black on that version (hopefully they dont make dial olive oil green black as the grey on the trulli was that color olive oil green greyish).

The FC was the most awaited version of the year probably and they just couldnt keep their reputation down of shooting themselves in their foots and letting a possible extreme sales record be an extreme disappointment. Sorry for you again JF but chances are that more money this year will go to some other watches

Btw, Zorro; do you have some plans of making a modded run of the JF AP GP? Or another run of the Noob?

I don't get it. The FC version is easily the most anticipated version, yet they have potentially made it the worst. Maybe they know how to make a good one, but figure that people will buy these ones regardless...all the way till v7.

For $3k+ I still stay in the Franken league with Gen dial, Gen tachy, Gen Swiss movt, correct crown position, Gen-spec case thickness, and more and more and more.....

Not just for a 'correct' Gen-spec tachy and part of the dial.

But it just me, my pov
