It is what it is A Rep and imho a very good attempt, the factories don't care about those anal colour differences, if it was easily done it would be!!!

Maybe once some appreciate that it's a $800 replication of a $30k+ Gen they will enjoy the hobby and how far it has come in the last 7/8 years.

Seriously might be time for someone fresh to take the helm of the Ap section.

I'd like to say something.. I don't expect gen quality.. Just asking for the attention to detail... That's all which the factory can do early but always never seem to bother.. So the money make V/version just keep rolling out

They don't care full stop, the cash cow Diver is a perfect example of that!! What we on now V7 or V77??

They did buy a Gen schumi and look how the dial colour turned out on it, peeps still bought!!

They don't care, so be happy with what's on offer or don't buy.

Does the average Joe blogs even know who Aude mar pee ghey is??? Never mind if the dial colour is correct, or if the case back is mm too thick, or if the date font is correct.

Hahah.. This is hobby.. Not my full time job. If u had access to the factories Instead of trial and error finding the correct ones and ones that are willing to produce small run parts... Would have been months my friend .. Unless you have been there seen it done it to what ever level of modding it's easy to surmise. And I'm not talking about price of the reps.. Im happy to pay there pieces.. Its the detail I'm. Talking about

I am stepping back from this thread--although it is instructive. I gave my run-down of the good, the bad and the ugly. That is enough. I think it stands.
Will I buy a JF GP? Maybe. But I already have fully-modded GPs (all three, BTW, and a forth fantasy) that Gio and Domi and Mike (very generously) and Z helped me with. So I really do not need to buy.
But you guys are lucky. JF price is probably lower than mine. I paid probably over $1400 for all the mods on my red-dial in the end.

Just buy what you want and what you deem worthy guys. I know deep down you all know that the makers don't care much, won't and probably never will. That's why I'm trying not to pick apart new releases as much now. Not worth the effort and for what purpose? Nothing.

Still not a bad effort for a prototype.. don't know why, but the AP on the Crown is bugging me.. from what I can see it should be White on Blue (dark blue) but this is White on Silver.. I know, I'm not bothered by anything else but this little thing is a bug bear, stupid or what hey!

Thought the crown was similar to the dial colour?
Look on the FC, its Red dial read Crown, RG, its black dial with Black crown...
