Well, I don't know the dynamics of the market out there, so..

Heck, I'd love to have deco rb2 as well, since I need couple watches that need the deco plates.

I agree if we were to make reps.
But since they receive movements with deco from factory and plus it seems JF don't like having extra movements as spare parts i don't think they will order movements per different watch designs.
I'd guess if they were making 1000 RB2 and 4000 44mm novelties, they would order 5000 movements, not 1000 non deco and 4000 deco.

Why we have a clone Rolex movement?? That's the same reason why we have a deco movement under a closed case back.
