Where I need to be.
Is it just me or does the CDG plate looks wrong?
Looks good overall but not sure if its a significant upgrade over the noob one.

You're very correct the dial CDG decoration is off. Slaughterer62 would know this very well. ;)

I shared this with a buddy of mine on the forum whilst we were discussing the new j12 RB2, so I thought I'd share it with everyone as well!

Focus on the gears at Pinion:

Doing exactly the same thing brother, need Blue ti, RG and RBiii to complete series, 3 movement plate mods for 3 schumi assuming they fit.

As for mods I anticipated issues similar with Noob, so I stocked up with 3 crystals, 3 sets of ti bezel screws, 3 cdg plate mods, and my strap maker is on speed dial if necessary.

FYI if plate mod works for schumi test I will be buying many closed caseback RBii versions, removing the 3126 deco plate mod and selling brand new non deco movement plate mod versions for those who don't care about it but want to save an easy $100 on a brand new watch with closed caseback.

Wonder if the bezel screws are better on the J12s...

Another Noob question... let me understand it well, so if I buy the new RBII, I can swap the decorated movement with my JF 44FC non decorated movement and the decorated movement will fit into the 44FC case no thickness problems? Smart thing to do!

Been looking forward to these for a long time, esp the RG.
Shrine is being built as we speak.

Remember: the pics are the sample pics for reference to dealers only. I don't think factories are stupid enough to include deco plates to closed caseback models which do nothing but added costs for production.

Remember, there are 5 different gen Rubens Barrichello models. Better start saving if JF reps them all.

Remember: factories are smart enough not to spend extra money and time distinguishing between necessity of producing non-deco and deco plate models.
They make bulk of exactly same movement from a single factory. Why not raise a value of perception while they have stock. Why dismentle the deco just because its caseback is closed?

They can use the move with deco on all the open caseback models, and use non-deco for closed caseback models.

Well, I don't know the dynamics of the market out there, so..

Heck, I'd love to have deco rb2 as well, since I need couple watches that need the deco plates.
