Just buy the gen if no comprises are acceptable to you. Comprises are inherent if you are paying a fraction of the price of gens for reps. Accept this and move on.

I've decided to go for the JF White dial, and am currently awaiting QC pics.

I am extremely nitpicky and i am going to get one as well. most of the time when I am disappointed i will not buy. I am just waiting till they release the blue dial and then I am going to choose blue or white. Most flaws have been dealt with like screws, etc. It is a good rep. You can choose to wait another year but look at from this side; it is really an amazing rep for a fraction of the cost of a gen!

Unfortunately it just looks like a row of pimples. Swapping a tf dial in for now wouldn’t be a bad move. I agree about the blue dial. Also, releases are coming very quickly lately so why would you say it would take another year ?

JF is definitely thicker than the TF right? Meaning much thicker than the gen

We really do not know the thickness of the JF with truth. Some TDs have this measurement, others have another measurement. I just want to see a digital calliper wrapped around it and the read out. LOL

i strongly believe it's 10.5 mm since most TDs i know have fixed the measurement to 10.5

I wouldn't believe any of the TD's measurements. They're all different!! My JF might come today but more likely tomorrow so I'll tell you for definite then!!
