I bought the V6 to see how it compares to the TF and there are more negatives for me than positives- bracelet needs way more attention to make it feel smooth but when you do so it all feels ma bit more substantial with screws that are better. The rear of the case comes off with screws whose threads match threads in the case- not the front bezel screws. I've yet to figure out how to remove the bezel assembly- I don't know if I need to press the little pin ends that are exposed once you remove the rear screws or what. If anyone can help me figure out how to remove the bezel that would be helpful as I want to replace the crystal.

The V6 screws just pop out and bezel just lifts straight off. The screws have slightly thicker heads than the TF screws but the threads are the same as TF. I've actually used TF screws with an O ring on my V6 but kept the V6 CB screws as again the heads are thicker than TF so fit the recess in the CB. The TF CB screw heads being thinner end up being countersunk on the V6. The bezel on the V6 is just a single piece of steel with an O ring around the inside. Once the crystal is popped out (from the inside out) there's a separate rehaut ring that is a loose fit inside the bezel. The V6 case is also a single piece with the movt space milled directly into it. The TF has a separate movt carrier that forms part of the case and bezel.

Regarding the bracelet - my TF and V6 bracelets are from the same factory, they're identical and both have the same problem with one of the links to the bracelet (not a removable link) having been drilled incorrectly which allows the screw to screw in too far so that the thread emerges out of the side of the link by about 1mm. Extra thread lock had been applied to keep the screw in a normal position sadly!

took it apart again and I don't see any way to pop out the bezel screws- the rear case screws are thick and screw tightly into the case but there is nothing in the case holding the end of the bezel screws that I can see- just their tips, and pressing with a flat tip ss rod thatis just slightly smaller than the case threads has not moved them - additionally the bracelet does not come off- the screws come out but the end links seem glues onto the case

That's odd? There's definitely no internal nuts so the screws should just fall out! At the very least the bezel should lift off with the screws if it was the case that the screw heads were jammed tight in the bezel! And the bracelet jammed? I have to say the fit of the end links is very bad on mine. I've drilled out one of the plot holes to allow it to sit a little lower.

The dial needs to be completely re done. Don’t waste your money on this version, not until you can get a dial that doesn’t resemble rows of pimples

Is this specific replica stunningly beautiful? Yes. Is the dial wrong? Yes. Will that blatant error irritate me? Yes. Very much so.

I can't understand how they put such genuine effort into almost all details and then seemingly ran out of energy in time for arguably the most important detail: the dial.

If you go back to the 17th page of this thread you'll see a post by sharrkey of the watch in hand and under normal lighting, imo the dial doesnt look that bad in the pictures (at least the black)

Yes the it's incorrect but it all comes down to preference, and for me, this is a really good version of the 15400. If it bothers you that much then im sure you can wait until they release the V6 or V7 til they get most of it right. If you are impatient like me then this is good enough for now

"good enough" and "not that bad" aren't acceptable compromises.
