I asked for more pictures. Also I can't understand if there is a scratch or dirt near 11 o clock

You got my empathies. And, quite frankly, as good as the reps are in theory, the build quality is incredibly shitty. I needed 4 (four!) of those watches until one was almost ok, and even that one had to go to the watch smith since it did not wind properly. No more ZF, afaiac.

You rejected 4 from QC pics, or you sent them all back?

I rejected three watches from qc pics, one has been withdrawn by PT themselves. The situation has been quite similar with my ZF 5001 btw. I never send any watches back, since that usually takes ages plus there is customs risk again.

I was forced to ship back because from the QC the date was perfect while the watch arrived misaligned. Now I get the pics of a "repared" watch even if I am convinced it has been replaced. I am not fully satisfied of the date even if is a lot better than before. What do you think I can do? Can I refuse the QC of a "repared" watch? Do I risk to get only worse date compared to this one?

If you want to be sure, that you get a good datewheel, you have to wait until ZF produces a new batch which hopefully fixes this issue.

I do not think is all batch the same. Every watch could be misaligned in a different way my first was high this is low, other seems fine.. I think simply they do have high variability in the dimensions. Anyway this is a repair, how can I ask for a different batch? I hope they agree to replace with a better one..

Just an update on the PR again for the sec@6 modules. I've tested both my 3878's and they are almost exactly the same PR.

Gray Dial = 46hrs PR
White Dial Ju Air = 46.5hrs PR

Pretty damn good if you ask me. Keeps time spot on as well

So I had been searching for this info... I have the ZF 3880 with the "same" movement (sec @ 6) I believe... the interesting thing is that I just tested the PR on this and it was a whopping 72 ish HRS! anyone else have this result. Excellent timekeeping as well... I am currently re testing and will let you know the result...

How do you test the PR? You wound it until there is a lot of resistance? I am rather scared with these movements to hand wind at all.

No I usually handwind 20-30 x VERY SLOWLY and if there's any resistance etc I immediately stop... I wind like this and then wear for a full day. Put it in the box and make note of that time and then the time that it eventually stops ticking. I pay attn to the date to see if it's am or pm.

So far the winding mech on both my ZF have been buttery smooth. FYI.

^ 72hrs? Cant be mate - you sure your doing it properly?

Update again: my 3878s are still working perfectly and time keeping is insane. Very very accurate. over 2 months now everyday on the winder

One more noob question on handwinding - in general about screw-in crowns - starting from screwed-in position. Are these the correct steps 1.) unscrew until the crown pops out. 2.) Turn crown clockwise without pushing in? Do I need to pull the crown out a bit more? If it clicks it switches to date set.

72 hours would be longer than the 89365 (68hrs) in the genuine. Even a genuine ETA 7750 only has a power reserve of circa 44 hrs and these are based on an Asian 7750.

Exactly. And not, you don't need to pull out the crown any further.

Yes. Exactly 71 hrs 25 minutes. I'm timing again just to make sure.

Yes exactly my thoughts. Unsure but I times to the watchville app. It might have been a fluke somehow, not sure how that's why I am timing again.
