This one totally flew under my radar, I'm glad someone has presented this one as well, thanks for your efforts and comment...

Having in mind the question asked by @Variatio Delectat what do you think about the overall quality? I have the same impression, dial shield cut-out, hour markers and numerals are spot on on this one. I'm afraid I can't say more about the sunburst.
Is that confirmed rumour that this timepiece has equipped fully functional 60min counter?

It has a lovely sunburst effect on it that really compares nicely with the dials. It just feels a really quality piece. Seconds sweep is very smooth. No stutter at all and even the bracelet seems better made and was easier to adjust than the one on a 3777 V6F I had.

I read next door at RWG that Toro had told someone that the new movements are actually from SWF and that ZF are also using them, and my logic was SWF will probably pass the crap ones off on ZF.

My theory seems to be kinda correct plus this one was a lot cheaper.

Here is another pic of my SWF. Hard to photo the sunburst effect with just my mobile but you can see it a bit on this one near the 4 and 5 markers

I wear my ZF one almost every day. It is hogging all my wrist time.

I've been in poundering mode on this 3878 for months now to replace my 3717. I was set on getting the ZF ones but the SW and V6 versions looks awesome as well. This is going to br a tough decision.

I have 4 Pam's, 3 from V6F / KW and one from Noob, since I started with this hobby more than 2 years ago and since then KW never disappointed me, his PAM's are still flying like a champ. In terms of overall quality and overall robustness, V6F is on the top.
But, this is PAM section, can't say a lot about their IWC attempt. But I believe that owners of the Chrono Petit from V6F can't complain about overall quality and reliability of this particular watch which was quite popular last year. Happy to see another player in game and pity to see them so late.
However If that would be mine own personal purchase, I'd rather consider V6F than ZF.
ZF's made incredible work in IWC Rep department but their movements aren't something that I would strongly recommend.

My ZF movement - and I think it's not build by ZF - in my 5001 works fine.

I don't want to downplay ZF's role in the industry because 3 of the newest ZF's releases I bought just recently are on it's way but I'm still asking myself how reliable mvmt I will receive, because in terms of ZF's movement reliability and robustness (especially ones with 7D PR and 6'clock second) it's just a pure lottery, and that's a fact.

And I still don't believe ZF is building movements. They build watches from parts they buy from different factories.

lack of information about this. the fact is ZF purchased in 2015 few IWC gens, half a year later we got first glimpse of the 5001 7 Days, that makes me think the ZF is straight forward responsible for achieving rep 7D movements.

My gold ZF 3878 arrived today. Looks really awesome, I will post some pics later. I noticed though, that the sec@6 is always stuttering. Is this normal for these modified movements?
