^ Yep get both. They are freakin awesome.

I'm addicted to IWC pilot watches :) - more to come I think. Gonna get the Miramar and waiting on the Tribeca to be released.

^ TBH i dont care about the counter. I'd use the chrono probably once a month just to ensure they still work. These in real life are amazing quality. So glad I didn't spend 11k on the Gen.

Trust me you wont regret buying them

True, of course, therefore I do not care about the faux subdials of the Omega 9300 reps as well. However, it's always nice to know that you could use it... ;-)

yes, but lacks many important features including silver chrono second hand instead of white like gen.
according to what Domi has said, modding the ZF 3878 is quite impossible and he won't provide such solution to any watch with data wheel included.

I think the new movement at sec@6 is quite stable (knock on wood). I've had the 3878 continuously on a winder for over 2 weeks straight and also tested the PR and it was 44hrs. Not bad I think.

The timing is also awesome. The teardown of the movement by ZF gave me more confidence than before. The use of a single gear to move the seconds is much better than using 3 as before

Did you look at Domi's answer in this thread: https://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/286308-seconds-6-timebomb-etc-confused seems like he has a new solution or am I wrong and is the old one?

Can you give me link of the tear down? I'm quite interested in this. Thx

Just an update on the PR again for the sec@6 modules. I've tested both my 3878's and they are almost exactly the same PR.

Gray Dial = 46hrs PR
White Dial Ju Air = 46.5hrs PR

Pretty damn good if you ask me. Keeps time spot on as well

Gents,

Any failures yet? I'm getting quite confident with these new transfer gears on ZF watches for the sec@6. Both my 3878 are keeping extremely accurate time continuously running now also on my winder since I got them.

My 3878 is simply one of the most amazing timepieces I've ever had..... and trust me, I had (and still have) quite a few :D
