So the 3777 crystal is fitting to the 3878? Thanks a lot for this info!

Does anybody have any tips on setting the time on this watch? I am trying to set the time so the minute hand hits the minute marker at the same time that the seconds hand hits the 60. However, every time I do that is seems that the minute hand doesn't move for 20-40 seconds, and once it starts moving, the seconds and the minutes are not aligned. I noticed this on my 3714 as well and it is frustrating! Any tips???

Have you tried setting the minute from both directions?
For example go past the time then wind backwards without going forward again or vice versa.
It is probably slack in the rep movement.

I tried this and it has definitely made it much easier to set the time more precisely. Thanks for the tip!

Maybe it's gonna be interesting input but even being in IWC butique in Dubai the other day, saleswoman guided me how to wind IWC automatic watches to keep movement in best "healthy" shape. So she suggested me to wind the watch always by moving the hands before at 6:30 o'clock. I don't know why but she refused me to wind the watch randomly.

From my understanding of the rep movement, it is advised to not wind but to use the automatic movement as this prolongs the longevity of the movement. As a result I haven't wound the watch manually... Is that the consensus for this watch and movement?
