Well i use the manual winding, cuz the pr sucks on mine. And i dont think mine winds on the wrist.

Can you hear the rotor moving when you shake the watch close to your ear ? If not the rotor is stuck.
I had the same on one of my IWCs from ZF. When you open the back you can remove the "Antimagnetic Cover" . It seems its to thick sometimes and makes the rotor stuck.

Same here, the rotor of my 5001 is stuck as well - fortunately I could see that thanks to the open caseback. I hope the watch smith will be able to fix that.

yes, you dont need it anyhow

you can make a quick test. Just loosen the caseback a bit and shake the watch , now you should hear the rotor
