There is supposed to be comma in the title: diamonds, silver dial:)

They both have the same silver dial dut just one has the stonoes on the case...trully ugly stuff
It's not the case rather the dial itself
Here are the links

Normal silver

What's the difference with the two

Two things baffle me here...
1) Where does such an idea even come from?
2) Where does the motivation to actually put this idea into production come from?

Bizarre.

Don't have much in conclusion of swf v5 versus a zf for a black dial. Anyone wish to comment?

Does anyone have a clue which maker is producing these diamond versions? I'm not interested in the diamonds, but the Puretime videos are showing a strong AR on the sapphire crystals (as you can tell from my past posts, AR this is a key 3714 rep interest of mine :greedy:). The size of the crown and the shape of the bezel match the SWF maker. Between ZF and SWF, I've been leaning towards SWF, but my hesitation was just the weaker AR (based on the older SWF Puretime videos). If SWF has improved the crystals, I think I know what I'm going to order.

Can someone post a picture to Puretime's video of the Blue / White 3714 SWF v5? I get confused as to which is which as they don't use the term "SWF" in the listings / video.

Cheers

I thought "schaffhausen " was lower on SWF but the fact is number 3 on SWF is ludicrously small.

SWF video should be this one (based on observation above)

Weird. I see your point in the pics you posted, but in the video and also my own rep, the relative positioning between "schaffhausen" and 3 look indistinguishable from the gen and ZF in my view.

I wanted a 3714 (in ardoise) so bad for a long time and I was really excited when ZF / SW released an updated version but having seen the difference in size on RG, I might jump to another watch. A real bummer ZF didn't get the dimensions as per gen :-( Not sure about the case size of the SW version

Heres the link to RG post

Exactly mate. Less than 1mm difference tho. Barely visible. The crown sits lower but there is not much you can do with 7750.

According to kennycoder, the SWF model is less than 1mm thicker than gen, and according to the RG post : http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.ph...newer-IWC-3714 the ZF rep is 2.5mm thicker.

Could someone confirm this?
Because, if the SWF is really less than 1mm thicker, compared to 2.5mm for the ZF, my choice will go to the SWF.

Unless you're walking around with a machinist's caliper attached to it, the 14.22mm dimension would be tough to discern by eye. What I'm saying is it's not terribly noticeable, IMO.

I dare to disagree. 12 vs 14mm makes it a difference of more than 10%, which is visible at first sight and ruins the proportions, and even more important, you can feel it when wearing the watch (same thing btw with the AP ROO watches). My choice would therefore definitely be the SWF.
