I purchased a Sillan 16610 case from Alibaba.

This does not mean that GEN dials cannot fit in this case.
I meant to say that it does not make sense to replace this case with an ARF case.

I put a TC dial in an ARF case and it was fine.
I think a GEN dial will fit in it as well.

In my case, I bought this case because I had extra parts, but I don't think it makes sense to buy only the case again.
For example, Frankenstein with GEN dial needs ST or VN case.
What are the drawbacks of this case that you would recommend a franken project with another case? My understanding is the ST case has fatter lugs and not engraved. This one has engravings and seems to have correct lug sizes.

Just a heads up, no more single cases for $200. Single case will run you $300, so it’s a much better deal to get 2 at $200/each
I was thinking about splitting a MOQ 2 with someone. If anyone is interested, let me know!

I’ve built two 16610s and a 16613 with this case. 2/3 were fantastic but the last one I got a flimsy bezel assembly. Tweaked the click spring so it doesn’t reverse, but I had to put a case back gasket under the bezel to take out some of the slop and hollow clicking. I’m looking for a better aftermarket option going forward. Any product ideas?

The only issue I see is that it does not have lugholes

These cases work just fine and take gen parts. I had my watchmaker cut the oval indent into the back of the case to accept gen style movement mounting screws. Did the same on my BPSD.

I tried a couple of bezels from eBay and they were not better than the stock one.

I bent the click spring a bit more and also added some minor bends into the washer to help with the click action.
