I have had this guitar for 25 years. Guitars have come and gone and I always find myself coming back to this old strat that I got when I was 14.

I completely hear you on that. Love the sound of a Strat and have had a couple but could never get along with them - i'm the same as you but with my Gibson LP - i have a few nice guitars which i enjoy playing but whenever i pick up my LP it feels like coming home.

A couple more pics ; DLC Slytech 218 with Trussart Steel de Ville

Wasn't around for this thread the first time, so why not.

Both rather filthy, but what do you expect with absolutely 0 forethought before snapping a pic? :p

Is that a neck-through body or just some fancy paint work?

Very cool -- kind of a Beetlejuice look haha. How does it sound?? I have a walnut and maple Ric Dakota that I love, but I've always been more of a Les Pail guy for tone. Maple or Rosewood neck?

It's so heavy with the darker wood being 100plus yrs old and so dense it sustains for days. Too heavy for a gig but it sits on my lap nicely though. Toyed with the idea of both rosewood and maple necks but decided on maple. Love my LP's too.
