A few suggestions of other watches with blue:
Tudor pepsi
16710 pepsi (5 digit, older model)
116613lb
Yachtmaster AP 15500 or 15400 (just did a review in the AP section if you're interested)

in case you want something a little different ;)

Good list, I would add the XF 15202 in that as well.

The watch looks so amazing may I ask which version it it? Can you post the link from the dealer? Much appreciated.

It's the GMF V3 plated with VR3185 movement. I purchased it from Li at Jtime. He doesn't have it on his website, I emailed him what I was looking for and he got me this watch.

Sounds like the GMF GMT isn't offered with the VR movement any longer. That was a temporary thing. Here's my email exchange with Li;

Me: " there's mention on RWI that GMF has gone back to using the older movements in the V3, with out the blue hairspring or gold shock absorber on the balance. Do you know anything about this?"
Li: " What you have heard is correct about the GMF V3."

Sorry for my dump question. I'm studying which GMT I should buy. Are both movements (old V3 vs VR with gold shock absorber) movement much different in terms of 'true clone', gen-like functionalities, and reliability?

They both should have "gen-like" functionalities. With respect to reliability, Gen>VR>old SA movement, if that helps.

Read around pages 5 -15 of this thread the movement differences are discussed in detail.

Does BATMAN/BATGIRL bezel from all have this “bump” inside the number 6 (and to a lesser extend the 8 in 18)? Or this is more of a QC thing that may differ from bezel to bezel? Many thanks!

That sample has a standard bump, you are not likely going to get anything better. If you paid for a V3 with a true clone movement, I would ask for pics of the movement to make sure you didnt get the 2824 CHS timebomb instead. There's been some of that happening lately.

Thanks KJ. I had followed the non-frisbee with 2824 situation and is asking for movement pic. Will share once received and see if it was only one off mistake of LI/GMF or it is a wider issue now.

I just spoke to Li on Friday. GMF stopped using the 3185 clone, now they are back to using the old movement. Good luck, hope you get lucky!!

Yea I saw that clarification posted earlier. I guess the old/original SA3186, whilst not as good as the VR3185, should still be viable over the 2824?

It certainly will. Just some members encountered the broken click spring on the 3186 clones. If you search more on this topic, even the gen. 3186's did have such click spring issues

That is really nice, 8 transition in a good place. I would be all over that and get a replacement VR 3185 just in case.

Do you mean they stopped using the vr 3186 clone and they're back to the sa 3186?

I know many people like the vr but I had the sa for a while and it worked great. Also, I believe (from talking to Li) that the SA was always what was spec'ed to go in the V3. I believe they just ran k to a supply issue and had to use the vr for just a short time.

But in my experience, the 3186 they use is great and nothing to be afraid of. It is not a time bomb movement and works reliably as weel as feels sturdy.

Yeah, no more VR3185 being used. I don't know if the new one is the SA one, Li sent me these pics below (calling it 3285).
