It's an ETA movement but that's only half of the puzzle. Handstack will tell you the rest.

Hour hand on bottom = 2824 CHS timebomb
GMT hand on bottom = 2836 ICHS safe bet

You can't worry about weight if you're buying rep "gold" bro. There's no significant weight difference between it and SS.

A solid gold watch will be heavier, but your rep won't be gold. The gold version will be heavier than the rep because the materials will be different. The gold rep will weight around the same as the SS version of the same watch.

Thanks! One of my favorites. As a few have already answered, it wont be equal to gen weight. But the rep two-tone Rolex's are a lot closer to gen weight than say a all good rep sub vs all gold gen sub.

CHS... :/ Rehaut engraving is a little bit off as well..

That's essentially a GMF V2 CHS timebomb with a 904L sticker on it. Does that give the factory a right to call it a V3? I would hope not.

A true V3 should have a true clone movement in it - SA3186 or preferrably a VR3185. Especially if you paid for a true V3.

I think the difference between gold plated and wrapped is immaterial. It is obviously a thin layer of gold applied to SS.
Russian / Soviet era watches are often gold plated / wrapped and they are really good at it.

We checked with the factory, This movement we sent you is from the different factory of movement. This movement factory is the same factory as Noob, They look different but the functions are the same as VR.

An ETA CHS movement is worth 1/3 the cost of a VR at best, and imposes a completely undesirable burden of risk on the buyer. There is no way a V3 order should be filled this way.

Didn’t someone else also encounter a similar hiccup with a GMF batman recently? From the same TD if I recall. Hmmm...

gen crystal - yes
gen DW - depends on movement if (vr3186) yes fits straight in

but the most interesting part, how did you get a gen DW into a noob Pepsi ?

It has to be glued on the 2824 DW as an overlay.
