No but I've got the BP with the "CHS lite" DG3804 movement. Lovely watch.

But by all means cover the desk jockey bits with cell phone cover

The CHNR is a really nice looker but I have to say once the novelty of the CHNR wears off for a daily wearer the BLNR is better. And steel is steel less vulnerable than the thin gold "wrap."

This is a GMF 126719 "white gold" oyster Pepsi 2824 CHS timebomb converted to 2836 ICHS. Thought you guys might find it interesting.

Crystal was 2.0mm thick, gasket was 3.2mm height, whoa! Clark's AR crystal swapped in 1.8mm thick, 2.6mm gasket. Now we're talkin.

i will probably wait till a good VRF Batman with jubilee comes out, one that is very good OOTB

Both of your GMT‘s two tones look absolutely stunning, for me it’s just that I would rather have one with an CHS, but as far as I know VRF isn’t offering one at the moment.
Im also afraid about the gold because I’m sure that I would probably get scratches in it quite easily.

Yeah I should have polished and rebrushed that. As you know, it isn't visible except in pics or under a loupe. Reps will be reps, we can't sweat the small stuff.

so what is it that you are afraid of? That the movement conks out on you in 6 months or 9 months or 18 months or 6 years from now and you won't be able to pass it on to your firstborn 50 years from now?
Of course if or when the movement breaks you can get a vr3185 for $170 from the m2m pages and put that in. Or get one now just in case.

and that will have something else that is not quite right like the case or the strap or the bezel insert and then you can wait another 6 months for the next rep to come out which will get something right and something wrong and then you can wring your hands about that until the next rep comes out.

Or pay $15k somewhere for a gen on the black market and stop worrying

Or just get this one now and enjoy it for what it is and stop handwringing about it

Mune has CHS. It has the "CHS lite" movement. If you look back at the thread that I linked to KJ2020 's post you can see that KJ and another bloke kennycospiracy got the ICHS instead. They have a great looking CHNR that will go on forever with the ETA clone ICHS movement. I got mine with the CHS and as yoi van see in the thread the hour hand calibration is off just a bit. Do I care? No. I payed the princely sum of $238 for it and I already got my money's worth oit of it. Next order I place with Li, which will probably be the V3, I will ask Li for a clasp and will put on the cellphone protection bits as per KJ.

These reps are just a bit of a laugh. You can look loke a gen Rolex spouting "tool watch" tool for a penny to the real thing and laugh all the way down to the bank. So what if they don't last a lifetime. That's not what they are for

Hi gents, can I ask a question? The gen bezel color transition is slightly blurry, whereas the V3 bezel transition seems very sharp and well demarcated. How obvious is this outside of blown up macro shots?

Thing is all conjecture. And if it does happen, then it’s confirmed that you can swap the VR movement in. And agreed on your evaluation of the “next Best release”. 1 in the hand vs 2 in the bush adage

Im not looking to pay for something that would break in a matter of months, since Im not planning on modding it.I want to keep it OOTB and not change anything, thats why I would rather want a great VRF movement than a GMF V3 one which is the worst one in reliability.

But I think you’re making a smart decision in not buying to be honest. Too many obstacles.

That new thread shows that VRF has not only not improved upon their horrific 116710 Batman insert, but made it WORSE in the 126710 by moving the 18 transition point higher. It's the same watch I linked previously in this thread.

Yea. For that exact reason I am going to pull the trigger. It’s the best version available. As soon as my QCs come and I like them, I’m just gonna do it. I think the chance that the next ARF v3 having new stupid quirks are just as high as improvements. It’s more fun to have 90% on my wrist than 100% over in Hong Kong
