Looks like it's very close between VSF and Clean but overall, the mindebloweness provocated to watchmakers all around the world certainly come from the VS3235, and its ability to fit genuine parts. VSF crystal is a little bit above what Clean offers and it makes the difference, at least for me. Nonetheless I can understand some people may prefer other aspects better than VSF.

How bad is CF v2 crystal glass comparing to VSF, I’ve read some people wrote it looks as same exactly (comes from same as VSF supplier)

Bro, the picture hasn't been mixed up, and GM's DW is indeed a bit better in reference to the comparison of these models we've used, but there's no guarantee that some detail aspects of any factory are exactly the same, so if you care about which aspect, then you'll just have to focus on it when it comes to QC!

nice comparison, but i noticed the datewheel on the gen looks horrible. off centered numbers, poor printing. The GM DW looks like the gen to me. May these pictures been mixed up?

I don't know if anyone has pointed out but, to me, the lugs 'appear' to be short on the CF. If you look at the picture of the case backs on all the watches, the Gen lugs extend slightly beyond the SEL. The VS extends slightly less but, the CF seems slightly short. I understand the lugs are not short but at 47.2 but nonetheless that's how they appear.

First time long time. Had to say a big thank you for this insanely detailed comparison. Crazy how hard VSF and CF has made their watches so close to gen. Now the tough decision is which one to choose. I ended up pulling the trigger on CF.

This is helping a lot with deciding which factory to choose.
I think overall the Clean fits best for me.
Each factory has it's deficit, but the Clean looks really nice.
I must say the GM has a really nice engraving of the serial number, all numbers and letters on right place.
And the small crown in the xtal is still the hardest for them all

Hey guys, I wanted to share my recent experience for anyone looking to purchase a VSF and swap in a Clean Factory oyster bracelet.

Maybe my knowledge is a bit outdated, but I thought both the VSF and Clean Factory bracelets were made by ARF, so I didn't think there would be much of a difference between the two. However, after I tried installing my Clean Factory oyster bracelet onto my VSF, the SELs were pretty off. I thought maaaybe the lug holes were drilled a tad bit too low on that particular VSF, so I was crazy enough to order another one lol. It finally arrived today, and unfortunately the SELs are still pretty misaligned after installing my Clean Factory bracelet onto the second one. The clasp code for the Clean Factory oyster bracelet is ORV. I could try ordering another Clean Factory bracelet to see if the tolerances are any different. But that this point, I'm probably just going to use the stock VSF end links and try to swap in the Clean Factory clasp since it does feel and look much better than the VSF.

So long story short, it's probably best to stick with the stock bracelet.

Below are some pics. The stickered bracelet is a VSF and non-stickered is from Clean Factory.

Thank you Bro for sharing your experience, it will help you all, in the early days VSF and Clean both claimed to use AR steel straps, but in reality the factories were subject to change in the use of straps and various accessories, especially when the suppliers were unable to supply them and had to use other suppliers.

ARF with gen crystal and DW.
Reliable watch for a lifetime.
Good hardware, easy to repair.
Best choice imo.

With ARF you can have gen crystal+ gen bezel, but gen dail+ gen hands it will not fit in arf with 2824 movement same what happened to me...

You need to have 3235 movement which it will not fit in the case of ARF..

Thanks for this super comparision! This is a great watch, I own the ARF A2824 in blue. Now I want to get the green.

I'm doubting between CF & VSF. I have read there are some updates done, but there is so much information on the web therefore I would like to ask for some help with 3 questions. Hopefully I dont look like a fool but I really cant find the answers because of the all the recent updates by CF and VSF.

Does anyone know CF still has the milky gasket ring?
Is the z80 case of VSF out now? (better lugs)
Who of these 2 has at this moment the best cyclops?

I have the Z80, Z66 and CFv2, and have posted detailed comparisons of the them with Gen parts as well.

Search my name, all your questions will be answers. Also, CF v2 crystal is excellent, but the DF is better, and Gen is the best (and easily attainable) so don’t look too hard for things you don’t see based on what was reported online.
