I'd get a clean SS and get someone good at gold plating to do it in 18ct gold. Gold-plated reps from the factory always seem way too yellow

Personally, I'm going gen for a 2 tone DJ41 but I'm building a super Frankenstein SS DJ41

The sticker isn't a good start with the word " clear ". Where did you buy the watch?. What is the serial number and clasp code?. How much did you pay for the watch?.

It’s from David. I asked him and he said yeah it’s a Clean with Clear sticker. At the backcase, the sticker is Clean with Luffy of One Piece. Paid about $400

I don't know who David is and the sticker on the bracelet should be black and say Clean 3235, the clasp code ORV is what I have on my DJ 41mm and it refers to an ARF bracelet. The 6R8 serial number isn't the same, mine starts with 1P. Sorry I can't help you confirm the serial number as being from Clean.

Yeah thanks man for the insight. I saw another person with this issue too on this forum, but still no answer. I researched that some CF dont always come with P1 serial. Idk which one is true though. As so many fake CF now. But for top factory of datejust, I think too many flaws compared to my gen datejust. Dial hue, bezel gap with the bracelet, the solidness of bracelet, crystal, hour marker alignment, and many more. Or maybe I got a fake CF lol

Im sure he’s not a TD. He got reputation on reddit lately as his price is good. Same as biguan. I realized compared to gen, my watch got slimmer lug, can you spot if this one is a VSF? Not a CF (?)

I've had my QC pictures from @steve_theonewatches for a blue CF DJ 41mm. Mine also has the same "CLEAR" sticker on it. Didn't even notice until seeing this post.

Starts with 6R8 on my QC pics. I've emailed @steve_theonewatches asking for clarification. At this stage, I have paid in full and they're installing the bezel upgrade and deep crystal, but your QC pics have a much better rehaut than mine which combined with this CLEAR sticker is making me concerned.

Can anyone specify: which factory is the way to go?
As a new guy in this topic, I even don't see the difference between VSF and Clean or if I see the difference I cannot tell is it because of the light spot or not.
So I cannot answer to myself: "with which flaws I am ok to go". Just because I don't understand how visible they are.

But I understood following:
dial color - better when its black. Then no problem with color difference.
bezel - smooth vs "teeth-like bezel, like on this model". It does not matter because all factories do good on it.

What I don't get is date glass. Is it visible flaw? Or is is not very visible?
