Those arent the same inserts. Look at the bottom of your 22's - they are crooked.

did you have to sand just the size or the thickness too ? Just got mine (they are amazing) but I'm struggling a bit to fit it !

you have to sand the edges with fine grit sandpaper to snap it in. very easy to do - its a simple job. FINE GRIT not coarse!

Used 600 grit on the edge and a little on the bottom
Used 3m tape to hold it in place since it is a wso bezel assembly
Keep rotating the insert so you make it even when you sand it

And with the insert 90° from the sand paper or flat? (sorry stupid questions it's my first time)
I sand it down a bit (90°) but it doesn't really click and looks half a mm thicker than the bezel (viet case and bezel)
ist really hard to say - everything needs to be somewhat modded to fit a variety of different parts from different sources. if the diameter is too big, then just side the edges horizontally so that it snaps in.
Thanks both of you, will buy tomorrow finner grit, thanks god I got 3 so I have some margin for errors 
Last questions, how long did you bleach them for ? And pure chlorox or you diluted it ?
