Should I age this or not ?

Age it of course,

Need a tip?

I've used an old toaster took out the French bread metal cages, and placed the bezel on a metal hook and lowered it down aged it with heat worked out great! Lightened the red and darken the blue and a great fade look from an angle. That's my course of aging

one question:
with these Milk inserts, are the proper thinness or do you have to sand them down to make them "sunken" in the bezel?

It also depends if the bezel is actually gen spec. I've purchased at least two bezel assemblies (probably from eBay) that were slightly smaller than genuine. That's usually why people get stuck having to sand the inserts. I'm not sure about the dimensions of the very first 1675 bezel assembly or inserts, but if there were any issues, they have been corrected.

The inserts are different diameters depending on if the watch has an acrylic or sapphire crystal

Of course they are. They are vastly different measurements. Anything for a sapphire crystal will have a larger inside diameter and smaller outside diameter. A vintage insert won't fit over a sapphire crystal. The inside will rub the crystal.

I'm not talking about the bezel differences between a 1675 and 16710. I was saying some aftermarket bezels and inserts for the 1675 have weird sizes that combine the two dimensions -- causing people to either sand the insert or use double sided tape.

Most importantly, any 1675 insert or bezel assembly from Milk today should work perfectly together or with anything genuine.

I have a Milk case, it's wonderful. Got it from him a few years ago. Curious if anyone knows if he makes gold and black inserts for 1675/0, 16750?
