Instagram is an open worldwide forum, shared by many nationalities. Try to just put everything down to local minds and habits.
It well may be so that in the Land of the Brave and the Free, You can say and think and wear whatever You like, that´s why it is so free.
In other places the least that can happen to You - if You do wear counterfeit items - is that they will be taken away from You, forcibly.
And than there are places everybody only wears fake items and nobody cares if it´s fake or gen, just if it´s nice or not.
Just expect few people in the western World to even understand the difference between a replica, a fake or a counterfeit item- they will not.
They will automatically create a mental connection to the shady underworld, to child labour, to smuggling, to tax evasion and whatever.
Imho just keep it low profile, it´s too nice of a hobby for us to be endangered. Exposing Instagram people that basically are doing no harm
(completely opposite to selling stuff on ebay) just calls more attention to the quality of reps to a wider audience of people, while shaming
the poster. It will not prevent others from doing so. Live and let live or so, a few posts ago, was nice
