Not only this, also do reps have a certain 'image' to them. Like negative attitude that people put to it when setting you and replica in context. That can be tremendous in some branchs.

Most people on here don't get that point.. ;)

Agreed. It's the stigma that follows and if you do a job where you ask a client for a lot of money they can perceive you as a shady person.

However we all think way to much into this. Most people who notice your watch and actually know what it is will most likely have more class than to ask if it's real. The exception to that rule is Rolex cause everyone knows they. Are expensive. I do not wear Rolex cause I have been asked if it was real several times and I just don't like that attention.

Instagram is an open worldwide forum, shared by many nationalities. Try to just put everything down to local minds and habits.
It well may be so that in the Land of the Brave and the Free, You can say and think and wear whatever You like, that´s why it is so free.
In other places the least that can happen to You - if You do wear counterfeit items - is that they will be taken away from You, forcibly.
And than there are places everybody only wears fake items and nobody cares if it´s fake or gen, just if it´s nice or not.

Just expect few people in the western World to even understand the difference between a replica, a fake or a counterfeit item- they will not.
They will automatically create a mental connection to the shady underworld, to child labour, to smuggling, to tax evasion and whatever.

Imho just keep it low profile, it´s too nice of a hobby for us to be endangered. Exposing Instagram people that basically are doing no harm
(completely opposite to selling stuff on ebay) just calls more attention to the quality of reps to a wider audience of people, while shaming
the poster. It will not prevent others from doing so. Live and let live or so, a few posts ago, was nice:)

I have posted a couple pictures of my Sub C on instagram because I have really enjoyed getting into this hobby but I dont use hashtags like Condoonmywrist and arrogant shit like that... Like this on that is for a Pro 2a movement called #Steelwaiting.

I wore two Rolexes.. My gen and rep sub (both used for certain occasions, however I sold my gen..). I had it on the SS bracelet, everyone consistently asked me about it. Everywhere I went.. No idea why, as where I live many people have them. They never asked if it was real, except the one Dbag who asked me where I bought my fake at, when I was wearing my GEN.. But now, I only have my rep. I took it off the SS and put it on a nato, people completely ignore it now. I am extremely uncomfortable when attentions drawn to me, especially where I work in NYC. So, now I fly under the radar. It's much more relaxing.. Lol

Be careful not to post serial # on your pistol/s. They can be tracked back to you, you know. Real you. Unless you don't care...
